AML CROSSINGS

My husband and I planned to do the whale watching cruise for our wedding anniversary today. We were supposed to depart from Sainte Catherine but a couple days ago we received a call telling us that departure will be at tadoussac instead due to the weather. I asked if the that means the time will change and I was assured that departure would be the same time as Sainte Catherine. We drove all the way from Ottawa, Ontario. We get to the ticket booth at 9am, the lady hands us our passes and tells us that departure is at 10:15 but we should be at the dock for 9:45. We quickly use the restroom, proceed to park in the designated area, and then walk to the dock. We arrived at the dock at 9:30, and as we were approaching the dock the boat was pulling away. We missed it by a minute. Not only did it leave 45 minutes before we were told it would. But it also left 15 minutes before the usual Tadoussac bookings leave.The gentleman standing at the dock told us that we would have to walk back to the ticket booth and see what they could do. There was about 20-30 other customers who missed the boat as well due to the misinformation provided to all of us. The ticket booth attendant gave us a refund but we are still quite disappointed that we spent our anniversary this way. It was a huge waste of money spent on gas driving from Ottawa, ON and hotel costs. We don't plan on ever using this company again.

Les bateaux sont très bien, le personnel est sympa, mais les croisières restent très chères, et voir les baleines reste très aléatoire.

The cruise started on time. Everything was well explained. It was friendly facility.
