The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have done the zodiac cruise many times. I most recently did this today. Sometimes I was lucky and saw a humpback breach. But other times, I only saw minkes, belugas, seals, and the tail of a humpback. While this is still cool, it is nowhere near as exciting as seeing a humpback breach.

You have to manage your expectations and expect that you will not see a breaching humpback. The other whales are not as exciting to observe. You only see their fins for a brief moment.

Based on my experiences, I would say that you might have a 20% chance of seeing breaching humpbacks. The other 80% of the time this excursion might feel a little pricey for what you get.

I love humpback whales but it can be frustrating when you drive a long distance, book a hotel, and end up being disappointed. You might have to invest a lot of time and money to get a great experience.

This is not a complaint against the staff as they are great. It is just an attempt to manage expectations with these types of excursions.
