A great hotel with a great restaurant used for last day of travel on way back to tunnel so only one night stay but nice area

Definitivamente um must stay na região da Normandia. Um local cheio de história, perfeito para se hospedar e visitar os locais históricos da 2a guerra mundial, museus, praias do desembarque. Hotel conta com excelente restaurante no local

Très bonne expérience du Brunch chez La Rançonniere!

This 13th-century farmhouse has been beautifully transformed into an incredible hotel and restaurant. It is absolutely enchanting! The hotel is perfectly situated to explore the highlights of Normandy, just 3k from the sea, yet in an idyllic country setting. You can easily walk into the small village of Crepon to enjoy a glass of wine or visit the couture umbrella factory. ||The architecture of the farmhouse is stunning; all stonework and rustic beams throughout, with a wonderful courtyard and fountain. Do not let previous reviews complaining about the difficult turn into the courtyard discourage you. Just take your time and turn into the arched opening. There is hardly any traffic on the road out front, so you will likely have absolutely no problem.||The hotel's rooms are beautifully decorated, featuring exposed wooden beams and gorgeous antique French furniture. Our room overlooked the inner courtyard and provided a beautiful view. It really felt like being in a movie! The bed was quite comfortable, tea and coffee were provided in the room and breakfast is available at the hotel. We opted to eat breakfast at various places in the village and surrounding countryside.||The restaurant at La Ferme de la Rançonnière is also quite good. We enjoyed a wonderful three-course meal featuring local specialties and fabulous French vin du pays. The bar is also very nice with a clubby atmosphere and great drinks.||I would return tomorrow if I could! I will definitely return someday, it was such a gorgeous area and a wonderful hotel.

Omgeving en kamers ok. Personeel receptie niet van de slimste. Hovaardig met Franse air. ||Restaurant personeel maken veel goed. Vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Helaas 2 x zelfde menu aanbieden op vrijdag en zaterdag is not done. Helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Ik denk dat er betere alternatieven zijn voor die prijs.
