ROYAL LUXURY CAMP

What an amazing experience with Royal Luxury Camp and their team from start to finish. We travelled to Morocco as a family 2 adults 2 kids (8 and 14 years old). We feel so fortunate that we ended up choosing Royal Luxury Camp for our touring not only through the desert but over 1000km throughout Morocco. We initially reached out to the RLC team for a desert experience but ended up planning with them a tour from Marrakech, through the Atlas Mountains, and countless stops at different villages and places of natural beauty. We planned a 2 night 3 days tour with the RLC but ended up having RLC take us to Fes for an extra night, and then to Casablanca as well. Their team helped us plan it all.

Youseff was our first point of contact over Whatsapp and was great in helping us plan things out. Abdel was our driver for 5 days and seems to know every corner of Morocco. He even took us to places that weren't part of the initially planned itinerary in a very comfortable Mercedes V Class.

Hafid (camp owner) and host did everything he could to make us feel welcome, happy and safe! He also seems to be one with the desert whether it be navigating, driving his 4x4 through the desert while others are getting stuck, and knowing all of the ins and outs of the majestic dunes.

The food was fresh, authentic and delicious and the service team at the camp was extremely welcoming and kind! The tents were spacious, clean and well updated! The location of this camp is also so much better than the camps that we drove by on the way to RLC. You are right in the majestic Erg Chebbi dune while most other camps seem to be off to the side or close to the road and villages.

We highly recommend the desert experience while in Morocco, and if you are going to do it, you have to do it with Royal Luxury Camp!

After long and intense research about Merzouga, the Camps and the Erg Chebbi dunes it was very clear for me to book the Royal Luxury Camp for our stay in Merzouga. The location is simply unbeatable. On top of all, the tasteful colors of the interior paired with a lot of attention and love given to the very detail of the camp makes it a pleasure for the eye and the sense. The colors blend in perfectly with the nature and surrounding of the camp. It truly feels like straight out of a picture perfect movie. The staff is super professional, friendly and attentive. You can tell they will go the extra mile for their guest. The food was super delicious and very flavorful, of course served in the Tajine. From the Moroccan Salad to the soup, the Tajine and the dessert the dinner was a feast. After we went sitting around the camp fire and let a perfect evening come to an end. In the early morning we went riding the camels in the sunrise, it was a beautiful experience. Afterwards we had breakfast, which was served on top of a dune in the Erg Chebbi, what a dream come true. Before we finished our visit to the Royal Luxury Camp, we did drive the buggies in the dunes, which was worth every Dirham. One of our group had got a bad cough and Hafid really was very much on top of it and helped us get all the necessary for Zayn to feel better after just a night. On this point, thank you so much Hafid and Team for everything. We had an incredible time and will cherish all this memories we made forever.

Very good camp with excellent food and all the comforts provided including 4x4 transportation from Merzouga, heating/AC and hot running water for showering.
