It's definitely a must-see Gothic church with romanesque elements in Strasbourg. There is so much to see in the church and cloisters that one can not describe it all here. I spent more than an hour discovering everything with a very good self-guided tour brochure available for free at the entrance.

A beautiful church with multicoloured frescoes, well worth a visit and with a very interesting history - first a catholic church, then a protestant one after the Reformation reached Strasbourg, then shared between protestants and catholics, then fully protestant again since the end of the 19th century when the catholics got their own church. On the left hand side of the nave when you stand towards the altar and the choir, you will find a lovely romanesque cloister tucked away. Do not miss the baptism font on the right hand side towards the front of the church : Saint Charles de Foucauld was baptised there.

Es ist ein sehr spektakulärer Ort, aber das Verhalten der Person, die für diesen Ort verantwortlich ist, ist sehr unhöflich und hat mir gesagt, dass man dafür bezahlen muss, wenn man mit einer professionellen Kamera fotografieren will... Lächerlich.
