This is an amazing hotel in one of the prettiest cities in Europe. Everything is walkable- the Cathedral, many fine restaurants, the train station, etc.||We felt so well cared for as there was always a smile from Paloma on the front desk, or an offer to help with reservations from Concierge Benoit. One has a feeling of travelling back to a kinder age, but with all of the modern amenities of today.||Breakfast was a definite highlight every morning. Set in a beautiful room one floor above the lobby, the offerings are plentiful and of excellent quality. We tried the "Pain Perdu" (French Toast) on several mornings. Having the smiling Alan welcome us in the morning was always a delight.||Manager Carine and her assistant Norman made the stay perfect. The pride that they both have in this place is evident and appreciated.||This is a very special hotel set in an historic building, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else if you find yourself lucky enough to be in Strasbourg.

Wir verbrachten 3 Tage in dem Hotel und es hat uns gut gefallen. Die Location ist unschlagbar. Das Privilege Zimmer hatte schalldichte Fenster, die wirklich gut isolierten. Frühstück war sehr fein, mit vielen kleinen Köstlichkeiten. Matratze für unsere Verhältnisse zu weich, aber es ist Geschmacksache.

I loved my one night stay at the Maison Rouge. The hotel is stunning, my room and its design felt special, cosy, but very modern/new.
I enjoyed the service, everyone was very friendly, professional and forthcoming, also all staff I interacted with were able to speak English (plus some also German).
The Breakfast is delicious, best one I had in Europe so far.
Even though I only had Bonvoy Gold status at the time, I still received a nice upgrade and late check-out without even asking.
There is only one tiny thing that annoyed me, and that is the amount of LED lights in the room which always stay on, even during the night. Like: All switches, the AC control, the TV stand-by and even the bathroom mirror always glow, and some somewhat bright even. I found this irritating, but most probably won’t.

Nous sommes venus initialement pour le brunch, complet, délicieux et sans fausse note. Les boissons chaudes et froides sont servies à volonté et les propositions salées comme sucrées nous ont ravies.
Je tiens également à saluer l'accueil réservé à nos amis à quatre pattes qui fut tout simplement exceptionnel. La philosophie pet friendly nous a conquis.
Ce moment d'évasion fut court mais nous y retournerons dès que possible !
