We had a great room - large with a view of the green space by the station. The room was newly refurbished and the hotel is clearly undergoing a lot of work. Don't be fooled by the outside, which is not particularly attractive - the inside is much better! There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby and the hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the river. We would definitely return!

Bel hôtel idéalement placé au pied de la gare.
L’accueil est chaleureux et tout est bien expliqué.
Ma chambres était vraiment très grande avec 3 grandes fenêtres et surtout très propre ! La salle de bain est tout aussi propre.
Petit bémol (mais je comprend au vu des normes de sécurité) : les fenêtres ne s’ouvrent pas mais il y a la Clim dans la chambre et celle ci fonctionne très bien !
J’ai un peu été dérangée par le bruit extérieur mais cela s’est vite calmé vers 23h donc pas dérangeant.

Petit bémol : le petit déjeuner n’est pas très fourni mais les basiques sont là !

Nous y avons été pour un court séjour , hôtel très bien situé , chambre propre calme et spacieuse.

I stayed 2 nights at Le Bristol and found it to be a good basic hotel with recently renovated rooms. It looks a bit naff from the outside as there is an empty shop on the frontage and the entrance is quite small with no ramp for suitcases or wheelchairs. It's an old building so the lift (slow) and the stairs are a bit narrow by current standards, and the rooms a bit small but the renovations give you all you need in a hotel room, and nothing you don't. WiFi is good and reliable. ||It has air conditioning in the rooms which was wonderful as their was a heatwave occurring when I was there. Modern windows keep the noise from the streets down and the curtains are thick enough to keep the lights out, so I slept well here. The bathroom was nice and had modern Villeroy & Boch fixtures.||Breakfast was the typical limited French fare served in a windowless basement for an extra 10 Euros, with only yogurt and fruit as the GF options, but I packed my own GF food so didn't starve. Front desk were staff were friendly with limited English, and if you want bottled water it costs e2.50 extra - normally free in most European hotels. No fridge in the room, which most other hotels at this price have.||The location is great - well placed for a short walk into Strasbourg and close to dozens of places to eat and drink, as well as 2 minutes to the main station. It worked fine for what I wanted in a hotel and was ideal for arriving and departing by train.
