Déjeuner à 4, choucroute correcte, spatzele en gratin appréciée ainsi que que le gratin au munster, en revanche le bibeleskes immangeable pommes de terre toutes molles réchauffées au micro ondes ?? signalé au serveur qui a fait une remise de 30% sur le plat

Had an absolutely delightful lunch here on 10 May, a lovely warm Saturday in Strasbourg. Many, many people were out and about that day but after a short wait we had a table for four. It was very busy but we were treated very politely, served promptly, billed fairly (and it was reasonable) and the food was just fine. All in all, for a touristy spot one could not complain at all. Compared to a similar meal in Paris, this was light-years better. The staff tolerated our less-than-perfect French but neither they, nor we, had to resort to strictly English.
