I could be wrong. I have been wrong in the past. My gripe is that I think the hotel policy should be changed. |I live in Spain. My brother lives near London. He drove here and I flew. We wanted to spend a few days together in the Alsace which we did in a hotel in Colmar. Here, we booked 2 rooms for 1 night at this plush hotel and paid in advance on a no refunds basis. On the day of arrival, for personal reasons my brother could not stay and after dropping me, had to drive back to Calais. We asked at reception if they had rooms tomorrow, which they did. We then explained that he had to return to the U.K. urgently and as they had rooms tomorrow, could we change 2 rooms for 1 night into 1 room for 2 nights. No! That is not the policy of the hotel. |Where was the harm in doing that. Imagine what a positive review I would have given as to be fair, it seemed a very nice establishment. |Flexibility is what makes the world go around. Sadly, this hotel (and perhaps all hotels in France for all I know) does not understand this important word. I decided not to spend an exorbitant 29e on breakfast and left the next morning.

Buon hotel, con personale gentile e professionale. Bellissimo il bar ristorante situato nel cortile; l'unica cosa leggermente negativa, il rumore che ho sentito la mattina presto, simile a quello delle ruote di un carrellino trascinato a mano. Per il resto tutto perfetto
