Came here for a meal with friends. The food? Decent. Nothing memorable, but edible. The view? Lovely — probably the best part of the whole experience.
But the service? Now that’s where things really took a turn. The staff seemed to be operating on a very strict timer — finish chewing and you’re already being sized up for departure.
After our meal, we were enjoying a quiet moment with our drinks (as normal humans do), when the server swooped in with a cheerful “Would you like coffee or dessert?” We said we were fine for now — key word: for now. Her response? “Then maybe the check?”
Ah, yes. Nothing says “thanks for coming” like being gently shoved out the door for the crime of enjoying a beer 10 minutes too long without ordering more. Heaven forbid you linger to digest.
Overall, this place gives off strong “eat, pay, get out” vibes. If you’re looking for a relaxing meal where you’re not treated like an inconvenience, maybe try elsewhere. But if you’re into scenic views paired with passive-aggressive hospitality, you’ve found your spot.
Super moment
Der Service ist zuvorkommend und freundlich (die meisten Mitarbeiter dreisprachig (Französisch, Englisch, Deutsch)) und die Auswahl an Gerichten gut. Für den Sommer tagsüber ein "leichter" Flammkuchen oder im Herbst/Winter eher ein deftiges Elsässer Gericht. Auf der Karte finde jeder etwas bei - für die touristische Lage - fairen Preisen.
Le personnel est certes poli mais très désorganisé.

Le restaurant profite de son bon emplacement. C’est pourquoi je reviendrai. Juste pour manger et boire, il y a moins cher et meilleur. Surtout le restaurant Bourbon de l’île de la Réunion tout près qui est excellent.
Un accueil très chaleureux, une cuisine savoureuse , un lieu convivial et un personnel jeune compétant , fort sympathique et qui n a pas hésité à échanger avec nous dans la bonne humeur et des rires tout en étant très réactif dans le service. Soirée inoubliable. Un grand bravo à toute l équipe et un grand merci.
Un verre très agréable au bord de l’eau, avec un feuilleté aux pommes glace, cannelle, succulent????

Cela m'a coupé l'appétit, je déconseille ce restaurant où la cuisine n'est pas du tout fait maison , ça se voit et où une souris peut se balader dans vos assiettes sans souci !! En plus de ça j'ai pris le gibier alors qu'il coûtait 30 euros, c'est pas bien mentionné sur la carte du menu dont jeb n'ai mangé que la moitié en raison de la présence de la souris.
Je vous déconseille ce restaurant.
Leurs chocolats chauds sont excellents, c'est bien la première fois que j'en goûte un qui a bon goût dans un bar / restaurant. Et ils proposent également des limonades pressions qui sont très agréables.
Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de goûter leur cuisine, mais de ce que j'en ai vu et senti, ça m'a aussi l'air très bon !
It’s a perfect spot to enjoy Alsatian food and beer outdoors while taking in the beautiful views of Petite France with the refreshing breeze.
The staff were very friendly and spoke English well, which made the experience even more comfortable.
I have three children and they also satisfied the taste and atmosphere of this restaurant. FAMILY FRIENDLY!
