This hotel is absolutely beautiful! All the amenities are top level. The staff are courteous and most interested in their guests comfort.|This hotel is well located for the Normandy experience with several good restaurants near by.|Highly recommended.

We stayed at Hotel Villa Lara for 3 nights. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Wonderful staff - especially Muriel. Great restaurant recommendations/reservations made for us. Immaculate rooms. Fantastic, walkable location to shops, restaurants and pick up points for D-Day beach tours. Highly recommend Hotel Villa Lara. If (when) we return to Bayeux, the Hotel Villa Lara will be our top choice for a hotel!!

Great hotel. Excellent location, a short walk from the cathedral, the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and the shopping streets. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good. Free parking. And above all the service of the staff: our rental car wouldn't start. The receptionist called the rental company and waited on the line for many minutes for a rescue team to be sent. In the meantime, the hotel staff arranged cables and charged our car so we could continue our trip.

Hotel Villa Lara far exceeded our high expectations. I had researched where to stay in Bayeux, HVL came in as the top hotel and was then recommended by our Travel Group. The rooms are large, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. If possible, the staff exceeds the accommodations! There was nothing we asked for that wasn’t immediately accommodated. In particular, Julian went above and beyond to insure that we had the most perfect visit. He also makes an excellent martini! Don’t miss the breakfast,it is everything a French breakfast should be.

Villa Lara is ideally located and provides a luxurious dignified place to relax and enjoy the Bayeux experience. Our room was beautiful with a fantastic view. As noted in previous reviews, the staff is very attentive to their guests needs. I would particularly like to single out Julien and Capucine for their help in giving us an outstanding experience.
