Fantastic hotel. Exceeded expectations |The rooms were lovely, the staff was great, and a nice breakfast. Unfortunately we were only there one night but would have like to stay longer. A great home base for visiting Normandy. Much more attractive than the photos

This hotel was beautiful, and the staff could not have been more helpful. First class accommodations and service. Everything from the wonderful breakfast, beautiful guest rooms and the team that runs the Hotel were wonderful. My husband and I were so well taken care of. The location was perfect for meeting the tour bus and shopping the beautiful streets of Bayeux. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Villa Lara is a first class operation. It is a lovely, quiet and cozy home away from home and its employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast, unfortunately, was somewhat disappointing, especially given the cost. One would do better walking across the river to the bistro about a block away.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location to explore Bayeux. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranged all our dinner reservations which were amazing. The hotel rooms were not only stunning but comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options.
We stayed at three other hotels around France during an 11 day trip, but we always referred to this place as "the palace"...and for good reason. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
