What a beautiful hotel! Old world charm mixed with modern comforts. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was so-so but it did the job! Excellent location close to Bayeux for tours to Normandy.

The hotel was selected due to it's proximity to Bayeaux and Cherbourg ferry port. The location is lovely, you need a taxi to get into town it is quote a hike if you are a bit decrepit.|The location is lovely. The standard rooms a small and rather cramped for the money , we paid 150 euros a night. |The restaurant supplies a very good prix fixe menu at an excellent price 29 euors per head the wine list is ok.|The issue is the service: the waiter was excellent on both our evenings, but that was also the problem one waiter to service the restaurant, the bar and on occasion I saw one attending at the reception. So service was slow, On the first evening we gave up on waiting for service in the bar as the waitress asked us to give her a minute but 25 minutes later we left having given up and decided the poor creature had enough to do,|We could not find any games room and the receptionist looked blank about our enquiry.|Breakfast buffet is so, so.|The hotel convenient for what we had to do,. But the restaurant deal for supper is good.

Perfecte rustige ligging. Kamers zijn ruim en schoon. Erg vriendelijk personeel in het restaurant. Prachtige tuin. Ideale uitvalshoek voor bezoeken van de d-day stranden. Ook Bayeux is erg sfeervol met de markt op woensdag en de mooie kathedraal.

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely Château hotel. Lovely big bedroom and bathroom, very clean and comfortable. Great choice for breakfast fresh pastries and local bread with Cheese and cold meats, and jams. Also selection of hot food. Lovely well maintained grounds. Very good location for exploring Bayeux, with it's excellent museums, without the need to drive. 15-25 minutes walk.
