Well-located, but you can smell grease from the kitchen in the bedrooms. You are paying to stay inside the Mont Saint-Michel; don't expect luxury or comfort.

Great town centre hotel with courtyard parking you can reserve. Continental breakfast only but numerous cafés/ restaurants locally.

The Reception staff were delightful and let us change rooms after looking at a horrible room, tiny with a typical French "double" bed. We settled for a twin bedded room with a pleasant bathroom (actually a wet room and VERY slippery...). We didn't realise when booking that de Brunville and hotel Luxembourg are basically the same hotel. The de Brunville is cheap but run down and the carpets need changing. The Luxembourg looked a lot better and we would book here if there's a next time. BUT the surprise of both hotels is the delightful Spa. You're charged to use it however, but nonetheless one of us used it and the other had an excellent facial.
