Notre séjour au Lion d'Or fût un réel plaisir. Du salon au petit-déjeuner en passant par la chambre, tout était parfait. Merci à l'ensemble du personnel avec une mention spéciale à Melle Juliette pour son accueil et son professionnalisme.

Great hotel but if I’m honest quite a small basic room. I spend 100 mights and 1/3 of my life in hotels and this was a great stay with fabulous service, I really could have used a bit more space in what was a superior (best available) room. In summary, great stay, nice room but could have been bigger.

We stayed here during our stop in Normandy and loved it. Beautiful hotel with modern amenities in a great location for seeing historic sites. The breakfast buffet had a great selection.

This is a charming hotel in a lovely location. We were there when the town was very sleepy, but Ann-Laure helpfully told us exactly which restaurants were open for dinner when we arrived. The front desk personnel were universally friendly and helpful but Ann-Laure stood out.||I was traveling with my daughter and they accommodated two separate beds for us. The room was still spacious enough. We loved having a kettle and mini fridge especially because my daughter got sick and I was constantly making tea and instant soup for her. ||I particularly enjoyed the bar area- make sure to look at the photos! Very cozy and comfortable to just hang out.||Two small caveats- there is no elevator, so you’ll get your steps in! (Staff was happy to help with getting suitcases up and down). Also, we found the restaurant a bit pricy for the area and the vegetarian choices. All in all, a lovely stay and I would return if in Bayeux again!
