We had four great nights at Le Clos de Chapelle. Gregory and Selma were great hosts, and everything was delightful. When we arrived around lunchtime, we went ahead and ate at Selma Alabama, the associated restaurant, and it was delicious. We then left our bags to start touring Bayeux. We came back later for formal check-in. Breakfast each morning was delightful. We even bought some tea for our daughters -in-law! Highly recommend Le Clos de Chapelle!!

We had the privilege of staying at this charming bed and breakfast for a couple of nights - the rooms and the connected Selma Alabama cafe are charming and stylish. The food is excellent - Selma and Gregory are responsive and a joy to talk to. They have thought of every detail. Awesome location for Bayeux and the meeting place for Normandy tours. We stayed in the jungle room and would love to try the chapel room. One note, if you have difficult with stairs, the jungle room is not for you as it has a steep spiral staircase. We loved our time and highly recommend!

We stayed at Le Clos de la Chapelle as it was a great location for seeing the Normandy beaches and San Saint Michel. Although, Bayeux is a great place to spend a few days without going anywhere else!
Le Clos de la Chapelle is a beautiful B&B, lovingly decorated, spacious and convenient to many wonderful restaurants and shopping. What really makes it a standout though are the people who own and operate the establishment. They go above and beyond to deliver wonderful hospitality and great service. The Selma Alabama cafe provided our breakfast and it was excellent. Even if you don't stay at Le Clos de la Chapelle, stop in for brunch, a cup of tea, or a bite to eat. You won't be disappointed. If you have the opportunity to stay at the charming B&B of Gregory and Selma, take it! And hopefully, you will encounter the lovely Anna, who works at the Selma Alabama and is one of those special individuals who make travel worth the journey.

Le Clos de la Chappell is truly a unique bed and breakfast. It’s situated in the heart of the original part of Bayeux, this bed and breakfast is unlike any place we've stayed before.||The hosts, Gregory and Selma, went above and beyond to make us feel at home.||The accommodations were impeccable. Our rooms were decorated in various themes-we were in the “chapel” room and the other couple were in the “jungle” room. Both rooms had thoughtful details like coffee maker/electric tea kettle, plush towels & nice toiletries. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable.||There were several choices for hot breakfast. We had the scrambled eggs & croissant, pancakes and yogurt/fruit/granola bowls along with cappuccinos and coffee. Everything was made to order fresh and delicious.||I highly recommend staying here when you visit beautiful Bayeux!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la magnifique suite de La Chapelle. Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée et très propre. Bien que l’hôtel soit situé dans l’une des rues les plus animées de Bayeux, il est très calme et idéalement situé à deux pas de très bons restaurants.
Mention spéciale à notre hôte Gregory qui a été aux petits soins pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible et à Salma pour ses petits merveilleux petits déjeuners, aussi beaux que succulents !

We had such a wonderful stay at Le Clos de la Chapelle in Bayeux. Such a charming inn! And what a fantastic location right on Rue Saint-Jean in the heart of Bayeux. There are so many great shops and restaurants just steps away from the inn. But the best part of our stay was the amazing hospitality from our hosts, Gregory and Selma. They were so gracious and friendly and incredibly helpful. We were in Normandy for the 80th anniversary of D-day and had tickets to the commemoration event at the American Cemetery. We had pre-reserved an Uber to get us to the meeting point but on the morning of the event, our Uber was cancelled. Though my husband speaks some French, we weren’t familiar with how to get a taxi and with the driving restrictions that day, we weren’t having any luck getting transportation. It was just before 7:00am and Gregory saw us outside and stopped what he was doing to help us out. He made some calls for us and with persistence was able to get us a taxi. He really went out of his way to help us get there so we could be at such an amazing event. That was just an example of the wonderful service Gregory and Selma provide at their beautiful B&B. And, last but not least, is the fantastic cafe they run, Selma Alabama, below the inn. Breakfast is included with the stay and we loved the meals we had each morning, as well as some beautiful pastries made on site each day. We really couldn’t have had a better stay in Bayeux. My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely Bed and Breakfast and absolutely did not want to leave! Our visit was perfect in every way. We stayed in the beautiful La Chapelle Suite and it was extremely comfortable. The bed was amazing! For being in the center of town, it was so, so quiet and peaceful. We did not hear a sound during the night, which was wonderful. Breakfast was scrumptious! Now that we are back home in San Diego, my husband comments every morning that he misses Selma’s French Eggs. We loved waking and going downstairs and being greeted by Selma and Gregory. They are absolutely the sweetest people and were so attentive in making our visit magical. Gregory made our dinner reservations ahead of our arrival at four delightful restaurants. Every night was a culinary treat! We will definitely be staying with them upon return trips to Bayeux!

We recently spent three nights in Bayeux at Le Clos de la Chapelle while we visited the WWII D-Day beaches and the Bayeux Tapestry. We arrived rather late in the evening, but Gregory and Selma were there to enthusiastically greet us and show us to our very cozy room! Each morning we had a lovely breakfast served with fresh croissants, eggs, fruit and yogurt and wonderful coffee. The B&B is so centrally located that we were able to see so much of the area in our very short stay. Gregory and Selma went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even in the midst of the final stages of opening for their attached tea room (Selma Alabama). They are such a lovely couple and we wish them all the best in their expanded business. We look forward to returning to see the finished cafe and additional accommodations!

Un hôtel charmant tenu par un couple des plus sympathiques. Un emplacement exceptionnel, une chambre charmante, une nourriture et un café fantastiques sur place - cela a vraiment fait de nos vacances une expérience inoubliable.

Quel séjour extraordinaire ! Selma et Gregory sont des hôtes merveilleux, si gentils et si accommodants. La chambre était magnifiquement décorée et isolée, mais aussi juste à côté de la route principale. Très propre et le lit était très confortable.

J'avais un train tôt le matin et Selma et Gregory ont insisté pour me préparer un café au lait à emporter et des pâtisseries (c'était délicieux !). Je recommande de séjourner ici et je reviendrai lors de ma prochaine visite !

Il s'agit d'un charmant hôtel de charme, en plein cœur du quartier historique de Bayeux. Idéalement situé à proximité d'excellents restaurants et à quelques pas du musée de la tapisserie et d'autres attractions, il est fortement recommandé. Selma et Gregory sont des hôtes formidables et servent un excellent petit déjeuner dans leur restaurant au rez-de-chaussée. Nous attendons avec impatience l'occasion de revenir dans le futur.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Clos de la Chapelle. Nous avions l'impression d'être dans une petite oasis à Bayeux, tout en étant à proximité d'excellents restaurants, de magasins et du centre-ville. Nous reviendrons certainement ici la prochaine fois que nous serons à Bayeux !

Petit coin de paradis en plein centre de Bayeux, près des commerces, des bars et restaurants. Hôteliers accueillant, chaleureux et bienveillants aux conforts des clients. Maison lumineuse, dans un cadre dépaysant avec des espaces collectifs en extérieur. Chambre atypique et originale. Je recommande la chambre jungle louée par Grégorie loué sur rbnb.

Très bon séjour! les propriétaires sont agréables et disponibles pour répondre à nos attentes et questions. Nous avons passé la nuit dans la suite Jungle, joliment décorée et intimiste. Le petit déjeuner vaut vraiment le détour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Le Clos de la Chapelle est un charmant hôtel de charme situé au centre de la ville. Selma et Gregory ont été d'une grande aide et d'une grande gentillesse. Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos chambres et espérons pouvoir revenir bientôt. Nous attendons avec impatience l'ouverture du restaurant !
