What a find. We wanted beef bourguignon and this place didn't disappoint. Great food and great atmosphere.

Excellent food, excellent drinks, and excellent dessert! Wonderful outdoor dining (inside available too) with pleasant staff and access to a bathroom. Totally worth the stop!

Excellent food and the waitress was very helpful especially as she spoke very good English. We all had beef bourguignon with chips and it was delicious and big chunks of beef it was just as good if not better than another restaurant close by that happened to be closed which is why we ended up here.

Cute restaurant with a delicious selection of French cuisine. I got the foie gras and mussels and it was so good! Staff was friendly and attentive as well.

We ate here three times and were never disappointed. Lovely food, friendly staff and excellent value - what more could you ask for. We had the Normandy Chicken twice as it was so good with the fresh cooked frites which genuinely looked home made. The spag bol was lovely too followed up by a creme brûlé and a café déca. The pichet of cider had the whiff of the farm yard and we were sure came from 3 miles down the road.

We walked in for a casual dinner for 2.
I had the onion soup as a starter and the mussels (moules) as a main course.
My wife had the fish and chips. Both of the dishes were outstanding.
The mussels were all large, with a wine sauce that was so delicious. I wish I had a little more bread to help get all the sauce below. I left feeling very satisfied and happy with my dinner choices.
The fish was really large, tasty and well cooked in a mostly fish & perfect batter.
The topping on the evening and the winner winner ….was the huge salted caramel ice cream for dessert - Wow!!!! The tiny prices of salt every now and then mixes with the melted caramel…Ohhhhh ❤️❤️❤️

De passage à Bayeux et rue piétonne, nous nous sommes arrêtes au restaurant "La Fringale" magnifique accueil, sourire, disponibilité, efficacité dans un décor rétro.

Accueil très sympa, pourtant nous sommes arrivés en dehors de l’horaire. Cuisine agréable, et sourire de la personne qui nous a servi : très bon moment !!!

En effet, restaurant très touristique.pas mauvais mais très cher pour la qualité. Sûrement très bien pour les nombreux américains présents sur place. A éviter. Service et acceuil agréables notamment.

En week-end en Normandie, nous nous sommes arrêté à Bayeux et avons dîné dans ce Restaurant au top. La déco est orignal et le personnel très accueillant. Nous sommes arrivés à 9, sans réservation un samedi soir, il était 20h et ils ont bien voulu nous recevoir ce qui est de plus en plus rare et difficile quand nous sommes en groupe. Nous avons passé un excellent moment. Les plats étaient délicieux. Tout le monde a bien mangé.

After a morning tour of Normandy beach we were ready to eat. I had a 4 cheese pizza and my husband chose a burger as fries. When staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal

pavé de rumsteck demandé à point servi bien cuit mais frites très bonne
sauce camembert bonne mais manque de liaison (pluss un jus de camembert en texture qu'une sauce)
pizza manque dassaisonnement et pâte pas agréable en bouche

Highly recommend this little Gem in Bayeux.
Arrived late on a Wednesday evening after 9 pm and the hosts were very welcoming.
Good food all around myself and 4 others really enjoyed it.
Friendly staff, great service and definitely visit again .

Je mets rarement des avis negattifs mais franchement à eviter. Pizzas fades, pâtes quelconques. Le resto se vide mais personne ne vient debarrasser, ni demander si vous voulez un dessert. C'est Cauchemar en cuisine ....

Attente trop longue,pizza pas bonne,et bout de verre de 3 cm de long dans le dessert qui était une dame blanche ! Scandaleux, soirée gâché et départ dans l'angoisse !
