What a beautiful place and what a breakfast. This is what we need. Made with fresh and tasty ingredients and most importantly with love. One of the best breakfast in Normandie.

A café with very delicious food. We were a bit unsure because of the name, but once we went in and heard Turkish music playing, we were surprised. Then, after seeing the pictures in the restroom, we suspect the owner might be Turkish :) With its friendly staff, it’s definitely a place we would recommend.

The breakfast and brunch selections were wonderful. They have so many different teas available. Dozens of proprietary tea blends. I had lemon meringue and it was delicious. You also are given a timer to steep your tea the appropriate amount of time.

The atmosphere is friendly and perfect for brunch.

I had Le English. The eggs were perfect! And the selection of baked goods was wonderful.

Nous avons déjeuné deux fois à Selma Alabama depuis notre arrivée dans la région pour deux semaines, et je m'y rendrais tous les jours si je le pouvais. Le "Oh my pancake" était en fait un glorieux croque-madame suralimenté, et la pile de crêpes sucrées du menu du petit-déjeuner (Nutella, bananes, amandes et crème fouettée) est délicieuse avant même d'avoir pris une seule bouchée. Le jus d'orange fraîchement pressé mérite également une mention spéciale. Le service a été très amical, attentif et patient à chaque fois, en particulier notre serveur d'aujourd'hui (désolé, je n'ai pas retenu votre nom !) pour qui rien n'était trop difficile. L'endroit lui-même est un havre de paix près du bas de la rue Saint-Jean, juste au coin du musée de la tapisserie de Bayeux et à environ dix minutes de la cathédrale, et il est accueillant dès que l'on y entre. Il est accueillant dès l'entrée. Un endroit tout à fait charmant.

Edit - Troisième visite aujourd'hui avant de quitter la Normandie ; clients très satisfaits. Merci encore SA - à la prochaine fois !

Lieu très cosy, agréable, calme. Les repas sont copieux, bons et pas chers. Mais nous pouvons aussi acheter en vrac les thés servis pour la maison!! En somme je suis ravie et je reviendrai avec plaisir !

My husband and I are in Bayeux for 5 days. We wanted lunch and were intrigued by the name Selma Alabama! We were greeted and served by a lovely young woman, Louise. She seated us outdoors and it was a beautiful day. I had the Avocado toast classique and my husband the Reuben. The food was hot and delicious. I also had a great latte. The prices are reasonable and this restaurant is in the center of town. A wonderful meal—-so good that we returned again the next day!

Nice little cafe in Bayeux. Relaxed vibes and soulful music. And they open at 8am while others open at 9am! :) food portions could be bigger.

Quelle belle découverte, nous avons été très bien accueillit par un personnel sympathique et très souriant. Et que dire du brunch qui était copieux mais surtout délicieux.
