ANANTARA AL JABAL AL AKHDAR RESORT

One of the most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed. Such a great welcome for our first stop in Oman. Location of hotel on the edge of the canyon is amazing. We spent 2 nights here and did not get bored. Highlight was doing the Via Ferrata. Our guide Mahmood was amazing at making us feel safe and great at taking photos. We have so many great photos and videos to look back on. We also did the village trek on our own that was an easy to follow hiking trail through the nearby villages for a few hours. There’s lots of activities to keep you busy between visits to the swimming pool. Breakfast buffet has a huge selection. We did the ifta buffet both nights and the entire food selection was different which was very impressive.

Staff were very attentive and polite. I can’t remember everyone’s names but Kim at Bellavista and Rum at the buffet were superb.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hotel experience like no other.

Beautiful location with awsome view. We traveled with a baby, and the staff was very helpful and friendly, also towards the baby. The food is outstanding: only the Italian and buffet were open during our stay. Breakfast is amazing too.

Ok, very brief feedback: Outstanding! Waking up above the clouds is an impressive experience. The service, the politeness are wonderful. We had such a wonderful time there… will certainly visit this or other locations of the hotel group.

The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived we felt like we were taken care of. Anantara has yet again set the standards so high for us!

We booked a garden pool villa. The beauty of the mountains and luxury of the villa itself was amazing. All the designs were very well thought out. The hotel was almost at full capacity but the way the villas are secluded you feel like it’s just you and the mountains????.

The food was 10/10. The breakfast selection and presentation was one of the best I’ve seen yet!

The hotel was worth every penny and luxurious in every way.
