SAMA AL AREESH DESERT CAMP

Très beau lieu avec un personnel sympathique, un repas savoureux, une belle terrasse qui invite à la paresse.. Literie confortable. Très bon rapport qualité prix !

A very comfortable desert camp experience and we are glad to have booked here for 2 nights! The camp is right next to the road so you can reach there easily by any car. But it is also close to the sand dunes, so you can climb to a high place for a nice view. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and very clean, especially the bathroom, and the shower had more water pressure than we have at home. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and had a wide variety of dishes. There is an uphill walk from the parking lot to the restaurant and the rooms. The staff helped us with our luggage, but you better leave your big luggages just in the car. Special thanks to Manruth Rochan who did a great job and served us very well during the breakfast and dinner, but also other staff and the manager were very friendly all the time. You can also book several desert activities on site. But we just drove about 1 hour to Wadi Bani Khalid and had a fantastic day there. We highly recommend this desert camp and would like to come again!

SAMA gave us and friends a very pleasant stay. Even if you have a saloon car you can reach here. We had arranged dune bashing ( extra charge) from here in the evening and that sunset drive was mind blowing. Nice room, helpful staff, good dinner and breakfast, beautiful location. We will definitely come back here again.

Sama Al Areesh camp was a fantastic place to stay in the desert in Oman. It was easy to find and the cottages which had solid walls, look like a tent on the inside! Nice decor, air conditioning and a toilet with a hot shower tops it off. The room was clean and very comfortable.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The views are amazing as it is within a dune ridge with camels casually walking by.

A very good place to unwind ⭐️

Nice place in the middle of nothing. The road is not far but in the night there is no traffic at all. Going up the hill you can see the sunset from the desert.
In the night, if the sky is clear you can see all the stars.
