Super nice accommodation and very good breakfast ????

If it wasn't for our initial encounter/conversation with the person at the reception/owner? I'd give this place 4.5 stars. When we arrived at the check in, a seemingly grouchy/angry woman didnt even say hello or welcome, just barked out her request for our passport. When my husband explained to he had forgotten to pack our passports, but we had a copy of them. This women bevame agiated, waving her hands and slapping them for emphasis and quoted the laws. She continually berated us for forgetting them until I said we'd go elsewhere. We're adults 60+ yrs and having visited many European countries understand the law for visitors to carry passports at all times. It was an oversight on our part. We took great offense to her chastising behavior. She was relentless and it was a horrible way to be "greeted" for our one night stay. We had stayed elsewhere the previous evening and had no issue showing photos of our passports. The room was vintage sweet but the pladtic covered pillows difficult to sleep on. Breakfast staff were lovely kind amd attentive. Grounds beautiful. Quiet area as well as being close to town.

Hotel muy tranquilo y personal atento. Muy recomendable si queréis pasar unos días en Tavira

Tercer verano que venimos a la Quinta do Caracol. Ideal para disfrutar y descansar. Amabilidad y tranquilidad caracterizan este bello lugar.

Una piccola grande oasi di pace a Tavira, con appartamenti curati, colori e decorazioni magnifiche, una piscina rilassante in un grande giardino e una buonissima colazione.
Lo staff è accogliente e gentilissimo.
Assolutamente consigliato!

An oasis in the city of Tavira. All this space was nourished by the passion of the former owner. His daughters now give continuity to his work, trying to maintain the taste and aesthetic sense of the father.

Pros: Great place to relax and enjoy with your family.
Friendly staff, reasonable service.
Beautiful gardens.

Cons: property is not well taken care of, dirty water fountains etc.

Note: be sure to bring a mosquito repellent or forget being able to sleep at night.

Nos hemos alojado este fin de semana allí, ubicación fantástica, servicio y amabilidad inmejorables, habitación amplia, muy limpia y con todo lo necesario. La tranquilidad y paz que se respira allí es superior. Estás en la naturaleza dentro de la ciudad. Además admiten mascotas, mi perra ha estado allí de lujo.
El desayuno fantástico!!!
Volveremos, sin duda.
