Kamers zijn soms wat aan de oude kant. Echter is het personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en is alles wel schoon. Het hotel zit vlakbij het strand en dat was voor mij een grote plus.

Used by locals for coffee and snacks during the day, so you know it's a good place to be!

Breakfast was a buffet service, with a good selection of cold meats, fruits and juices

There was a help yourself cooked breakfast as well , even at 8am it wasn't hot. At best luke warm

We did have an evening meal here one night, personally I thought it was quite expensive for what was being served

Only chicken dish was piri piri, and the steak didn't come with any vegetables. Just some thick crisp style potato

One couple ordered veal, which the waiter cooked at their table. Very theatrical when he wheeled out the trolley and flambeed in front of them!!

Great location for the beach and only a short walk across the bridge to catch a bus into Faro

Rooms have everything you need, and the rooms were kept clean

Making a coffee or tea was interesting, we had to boil the kettle on the floor. No socket by the table and lead wasn't long enough to use while the kettle was on the table

Nice bowl of complimentary fruit and bottled water when we arrived. Good selection of toiletries provided

We would definitely go back to the hotel on our next visit

Zimmer, Möbel sind in die Jahre gekommen, das Bad ist zweckmäßig, der Duschvorhang ist nicht das feinste. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet okay. Die Lage ist gut, Strand und Station mit Boot nach Faro in nähe.

Excelente ubicación en la playa de Faro, cerca al aeropuerto que se encuentra al otro lado de la bahía pero prácticamente no se oye. Personal super-amable y atento en cada momento. El restaurante tiene muy buena relación precio-calidad y también es frecuentado por gente local para tomarse un café o comer. Las habitacionen han entrado un poco en años, son limpias y amplias con vistas hacía la costa o la laguna.

Excellent location on the beach in Faro, close to the airport which is on the other side of the bay but virtually unheard. Super friendly and attentive staff at all times. The restaurant is very good value for money and is also frequented by locals for coffee or lunch. The rooms are a bit dated, clean and spacious with views of the coast or the lagoon.

Just peacefull

We had a room that had a slight view of the sea and the lagoon. Unfortunately, they are repairing the bridge so there was very loud construction every day until 7pm, which made our balcony unusable. The room smelled a little musty, but it was clean and cleaned daily. The location to the beach was great as well as the staff, they were always very friendly!

Despite the restaurant being full of Plymouth University students they gave us a table on the patio.
The food was excellent! A main course of mixed grill with an ice cream selection for pudding.

We have been going to this hotel since 2004, and have never been disappointed, or had cause to complain. In our opinion, this hotel is perfectly located: get off the plane, onto a bus or in a taxi, and head for the beach. 5 minutes later, you are at the hotel. The taxi costs approximately 10 euros.
It's also a short walk to the ferry, which takes you across the rio formosa to the town centre. The ferry runs approximately every 30 minutes and a return fare is 3.75 euros.
The hotel itself is clean, friendly, excellent value and the food is extremely good, although I found the dessert portion to be too large for me.
The only issue on this visit was that there was building work taking place on the bridge near the hotel. Had we known about this, we would have packed earplugs. Not the fault of the hotel though, and we will definitely be back.

Este verano estuvimos en esta especie de hotel según dicen de tres estrellas pero se cayeron las tres nos colocaron en la planta baja con buenas vistas que solo veíamos los coches de la carretera ,el baño sucio y con moho ,el cristal de la mesita roto, me queje en recepción no se podía estar del olor que hacía y la señora vino con un ambientador que casi nos axfisiamos lo documente todo a mí agencia y nos cambiaron .PARA NADA LO RECOMIENDO VIEJO Y MAL OLIENTE antes duermo en la playa
