Fabulous little guest house with some great rooms which are massive and tastfully decorated . Breakfast was plentiful. The staff were very nice and friendly.

Nos ha ocurrido exactamente lo mismo que otra de las opiniones negativas de este alojamiento.

Estamos en ENERO y hemos solicitado una habitación con un Smartbox YA PAGADO PARA FINALES DE JULIO. Les solicité una fecha que tenían disponible en su calendario y me la han denegado. ¿De verdad van a decirme que ayer estaba libre y justamente hoy ya tienen cogidos los dos días que yo he solicitado? Adjunto foto de que tienen todo disponible excepto, casualmente, los dos días que yo traté de reservar (que ayer estaban vacíos, han modificado hoy el calendario).

Si no les interesa que la gente vaya con el Smartbox, que no lo oferten.

TERRIBLE SERVICIO. VERGÜENZA.

As it's relatively inexpensive I was apprehensive but what a fantastic surprise!
Our room with a balcony overlooking the square was spacious, spotless, and elegant with its high ceiling and double windows. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Bianca our concierge could not have been more hospitable. A simply wonderful experience all round.

Clean room, helpful staff but it was just too noisy so we ended up booking somewhere else. Felt like we were sleeping outside. We could hear the cars and motorbikes reving their engines. Woke us up numerous times. Room we booked didn't have a window just a ceiling window so it felt very cramped and we had booked for 5 nights. Breakfast was nice and staff really helpful. We were credited for the early checkout but I don't think we will book again. The pool also looked really nice.

Tenemos un pack de regalo (ya pagado) de una noche, y nos niegan la fecha que queremos ir, aún habiendo habitación disponible.
Queríamos pasar una noche más, a parte de la del pack, y la hubiéramos pagado si nos confirmaban la habitación. Pero su política de no dar habitaciones con los pack de regalo que ya están pagados en temporada alta, les hace perder clientes, prestigio y dinero, puesto que ganarían una noche más con huéspedes.

Mala gestión.

This hotel suite was absolutely amazing the breakfast options were really good and the kitchen is open for everyone to use later. The rooms were huge with lots of closet and bathroom space! The pool is also for everyone to access, really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend 100%! The reception ladies were also the sweetest and always helped :)

A little difficult to find but if you get in the zone where sat nav takes you look for the bar in the garden/square and the entrance is opposite you on the far right of the building.

Bianca is the concierge we had and she couldn’t have been more helpful. A major coup was her advising us of the FREE car park behind the petrol station which is 500yards away.

Our room had no window but to be honest we only used the room in the evenings so it didn’t matter.

The personal where amazing and really accommodating. Really clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Every room is different, with buffet included that is simple but good. It's not close to the beach but the workers can tell you how to get there.

Un excellent rapport qualité/prix en cette mi-mai. 69€ la nuit / 2 avec un petit déjeuner excellent, c'est exceptionnel !! Rien à dire, si.... la douche était parfaite dans les chambres du haut. La piscine trop froide encore malheureusement ????

I highly recommend the Villa Rio Guest House Suites. The location is right along the river walk area with public transportation available. Walking distance to restaurants and tours of Portimão. If you are driving check with the staff about parking locations. The room was wonderful and very clean. Breakfast overlooking the pool area. This is a quaint guest house with a very attentive staff. Modern features in the rooms give you a luxurious feel to your stay. A beautiful winding staircase greets your arrival beyond the entry door. The cost per night is also good.

La experiencia fue excelente! El personal muy atento y simpático en todo momento. Las habitaciones están geniales, son grandes y el cuarto de baño es espacioso, tiene una pequeña terracita interior para tomar los desayunos y pequeño espacio con piscina para quitarse el calor en verano. No tienen parking propio, no es necesario por que hay espacios de aparcamiento en la calle. Sin duda lo recomendamos.

Nuestra habitacion tenia una ventanita detras de la cama que NO era practicable.
Solo para que entrara un poco de luz.
Sin posibilidad ni de llegar a ella ni tampoco de abrirse para ventilar la habitacion.
Y ademas hay obras justo en la pared colindante de la habitacion. Un ruido horrible que ni nos avisaron. Ni nos rebajaron el precio, pese a quejarnos.
El trato del propietario NO fue adecuado..

Just come back from staying here and its such a fab place to stay highly recommended. Great staff very clean and all you could want. Lovely beds and beautiful fabrics and great bathroom too. Breakfast was lovely and good coffee too. When i go back will be the only place to stay thanks
