Endroit magnifique à ne surtout pas rater. La vue, la sérénité, les chambres, les repas et l'accueil ! Je recommande cet endroit absolument.

Wonderful experience. We stayed here before heading into Akagera Park, and found it a delightful place. The landscaping is gorgeous and the location could not be better.
The rooms are lovely, complete with four-poster beds and indoor-outdoor showers. Service is great, and the food was a perfect mix of local cuisine and more general dishes.
Highly recommended if you're in the area. I would definitely stay again.

I travel alone and had one night there ! The host was very helpful and supportive.
The hute was perfect, you feel escape in the jungle ????
Feel safe and welcomming

Also take the dinner:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I recommand to spend time there and do the safari with them

All need to visit Rwanda ✨

Endroit fabuleux ! Nous avons été accueillis merveilleusement par Julienne et sommes restés quelques jours de plus après notre visite du parc Akagera tellement nous étions bien ! Les repas sont délicieux, l'infrastructure incroyable et le service 5* ! Encore merci Julienne pour ces moments magiques ! Nous reviendrons dès que possible et en feront la promotion dans notre entourage !!

ENG: Highly recommended. The host is very welcoming and interesting, the dinner and breakfast were really good, the rooms are charming and so is the overall decor of the guesthouse. The garden is amazing. Well priced.

Das Hotel ist einfach eine Oase voller Pflanzen und positiver Energie. Man fühlt dich sehr willkommen und zu Hause. Das Essen ist unvergesslich! Die besten vegetarischen Speisen in höchster Qualität nur leider viel zu viel: Kochbananen, Bohnen, pilzsauce, würzige Saucen, Tomaten, salate, smoothis, süsskartoffeln, yams, Eier, quiche, Eier, Käse...einfach sehr köstlich. serviert wird alles von der bezaubernden, klugen Grace. Die Lage zum Nationalpark ist perfekt. Man würde aber auch gerne tagelang in dem schönen Garten oder im Haupthaus mit Weitblick auf die Landschaft sitzen.

Stop searching for your accommodation in or around Akagera: you've found it! It doesn't get better than Rutete Eco Lodge; the lodges, Julliene's hospitality, the fresh juices from the permaculture garden, multiple course dinners and a generous breakfast are truly the best we've seen in Rwanda. The privacy, tranquility and fair pricing at the lodge is a warm welcome in the sometimes hectic and overpriced Rwanda. Even the tiny little wooden spoons, one each in four (!) different jams served at breakfast, are perfect. You'll come hoping to see the big five in Akagera, you'll leave remembering Julliene and her staff at Rutete Eco Lodge!

One of THE BEST lodge experience we had ! Grace and the team were so nice, rooms are really well decorated and the diner was the best of our trip, with plenty of small dishes the chef had made for us to try revisited Rwandese cuisine. And all this at a very good price, especially compared to other lodges around Akagera. Thanks again for welcoming us !

What a wonderful stay! Julienne was such a lovely host (and her daughter + staff) were so very welcoming. Beautiful garden and high end lodges with comfy beds - all good equipped. Truly recommend having dinner at Rutete for a resonable price. Classic Rwandan cuisine with Belgian influences. The breakfast was also a great start of the safari day. All in all a five star experience! Would def come back.

We enjoyed three wonderful days at Rutete Eco Lodge. Julie is the perfect host and we were so impressed with what she and her incredible staff have accomplished! The meals were generous and delicious, the atmosphere cozy and relaxed. You will be in awe of the natural beauty of the grounds. Thank you Julie!
