5 Swiss is a prime hotel centrally located near the Mille Collines hotel and the old presidential residence and the French embassy. Atmosphere of hotel is relaxed in a positive way a'd the restaurant and bar very nice. The staff is super cool especially the driver Alex who is a great asset to this hotel. Very nice to talk with the regular customers of the bar from affluent Rwandan society and a great source of information for newcomers

I can’t say enough good things about this little gem of a hotel. I’ve been at the hotel for two weeks for a work trip. It’s very clean , staff are attentive , breakfast is wonderful , laundry is free (!) , restaurant has good options that are affordable , solid internet , friendly airport shuttle service , and a comfy bed . It’s also very close to great restaurant options , cafes , and the car free zone . I highly recommend 5 Swiss to any traveler !

In February 2023, my husband and I had our first visit to Rwanda and stayed at 5 Swiss Hotel, the second accommodation during our time in Kigali. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. The room was immaculate, and the downstairs bar/breakfast area boasted a beautiful aesthetic. The outdoor area felt pleasantly earthy. The included breakfast was enjoyable. Without a doubt, I would choose 5 Swiss Hotel again for my future stays in Kigali, Rwanda.
