Musée du débarquement
Magnifique, entre les documentaires, les témoignages et toutes ses reliques, c'est une belle découverte. On en sais beaucoup plus sur notre histoire. A voir

I found the renovated museum very disappointing with respect to the old one. 75% of the content is the same as what you can find in almost every village museum around. What made the old museum (I.e. before renovation) great, in my view, was that it was focusing on explaining the conception and building of the port of Arromanche and had a signignoficant part related to what enabled it, like the Fortitude operation. Here, Fortitude was only 2 lines written on a wall. I'm truly disappointed and don't recommend it! We visited it off-season, so did not really experience what other negative reviews mention, however even though it was not too crowded, I could easily picture the gaps in personnel, queues, etc. I'm quite sad because I brought my parents in law after advertising it but it was nor worth it in my view.
