Such a great spot! We stayed for 4 nights, all the staff we met were lovely and helpful. This was a good price for the location, which was great - so easily walkable to all the places you want to go and explore! This is an old building (no elevator, but they carried our bags up the stairs which was nice) so the rooms are quite small, especially if traveling with large suitcases but that was fine for us in exchange for all the other benefits!

This place is charming and comfortable. It’s in a great location; lots of walkable restos, cafes and bars. The surrounding streets can be quite lively, especially at night, but Chiado 44 is on a very quiet street. We were able to sleep with the window open. Very comfy bed! Friendly and informative front desk staff. Very clean.
