The location is very good, right on Rossio Square, so no complaints there. The front desk staff was a little underwhelming when we arrived, but nice when we left. We ended up cutting our visit short - not completely because of the hotel, but we decided to fly to Funchal on Madeira island since we had been to Lisbon a few months before for a cruise. We paid for the entire stay which we knew we would have to do - no problem there. The room was small, but you get what you pay for and the price was great. Breakfast was fine, and there are lots of shops and cafes nearby. This would have definitely been a 4 star review, but there was a major problem with the bathroom which you can see in the photos we've added. I don't know if it was black mold or not, but we looked up above the window and saw a lot of it. It seriously affected our enjoyment of the room and was one of the reasons we cut the trip short. I hope they get in there with some bleach to spray it down and remove it. It was probably the psychological effect of seeing it, but I definitely didn't feel great staying there.

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was not facing the street, so the view out the window was just a small courtyard. The rooms themselves are nice but fairly basic. Service is excellent (hosts printed out train tickets for us, gave us recs for what to do in city, etc). Location is also prime, as there are restaurants, bars, and train stops all nearby. Didn’t really find noise at night to be a problem at all

Superb hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff. The room was great and quirky, a great experience. The shower is perfect. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Location wise it is first class for getting around Lisbon and is right next to the Metro station. It was my wife's birthday and we came back to champagne and cake set out in the room which was a very nice touch by the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this great hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, service and hospitality of this place. The room and bathroom were spotless and very modern. The only downside is the room we stayed in with the “Fado” decor was very small, we barely had space to open our luggage fully, but it was perfect for just a few nights and didn’t bother us much.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location! There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby and is steps away from the metro. I never felt unsafe in this area. If you’re looking for a cozy, quaint and clean place to stay we highly recommend!

The location and service were superb. Really central so its very easy to hop onto any mode of transport and also quite close to most of the sight seeing places in Lisbon.

The rooms were small but it was very affordable in comparison. The view from the balcony was lovely as I could see one of the main squares. Despite being so local rooms are quiet

The staff were really helpful when it came to directions to going anywhere etc and finding best routes.

We paid for breakfast to be included, I would say it's an OK breakfast with some options. The restaurant itself gives you some spectacular views of Rossio Square

I celebrated my birthday with them and staff surprised me with a cake. It was also valentines shortly after the staff made an effort to make the day special for all the guests.

We were lucky to get a very quiet room. It was small but very comfy and clean. The bathroom was perfect too, and the staff was kind and helpful. Honestly, l don't think you can get a better deal. The location is just perfect.

I absolutely love everything about My Story Hotel Rossio! First of all, the staff is incredible! Everyone is friendly and helpful, and made my stay very special! In particular, many thanks to Inês and Cristiana in reception and Julia in the breakfast room. My room with a view of Rossio Square was so beautiful! The breakfast selection was great. The location of course is perfect, right in the center of everything. I dream about when I can come back here again!

The best thing about this hotel is its central and convenient location to most of the tourist areas. The room was a typical small European room with a tight bathroom. One day after room service made up the room, the bed was found to be soaking wet for an unexplained reason. We didn't opt for the breakfast so cannot comment on it. Staff were helpful and very accommodating when we arrived in the morning long before check in. Room was remarkably quiet with the window closed.

The location of My Story Hotel Rossio is great. The front desk staff is great. The room was clean. However, this is the smallest hotel room that I have ever stayed in! There was about 18" between the foot of the bed and the wall. No good place to open a suitcase. You had to put the coffee pot on the floor to be able to get it near an outlet. No outlet next to the bed in our room. The shower was great but the hairdryer barely worked so we requested another from the front desk. The breakfast was very attractive and lots of variety but many things were cold and not so tasty. This hotel was not inexpensive and I expected more. I rarely post a negative review but I wish I had seen this in the reviews before I booked this hotel.
