I’m currently in the middle of my stay here for three nights and feel compelled to write a review because this place is exceeding all my expectations. I read prior reviews and found the only consistent negative feedback about the stairs. The whole city is full of stairs and hills so I don’t feel it’s a valid complaint. We found the ascent to our room to be charming. Yes there are a lot of stairs, but upon check in, the effusively friendly and helpful staff insist on bringing up your luggage while pouring you a welcome drink to enjoy on the balcony with sweeping views of the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed and beautifully designed. A welcome gift of fruit and port awaits in your room upon check in. The location is great - in the middle of action but not noisy. The room rate was very reasonable compared to other options. Would definitely stay here again.
