Richard a été un excellent conférencier - sympathique, divertissant et engageant. Il est manifestement très compétent et passionné par l'ornithologie, et désireux de partager ses connaissances avec les participants. Le contenu du cours était intéressant et informatif.
L'administration a été très bien gérée par Keisha - tout a fonctionné :-}
Je recommande vivement ce cours à tous ceux qui cherchent à mieux comprendre le comportement et la physiologie des oiseaux, ce qui ne peut qu'améliorer l'expérience d'observation des oiseaux !

Une expérience extraordinaire, avec un personnel incroyable et passionné (aussi bien les guides que les cuisiniers et nettoyeurs en coulisses). Le camp Makuleke et ses activités ornithologiques sont absolument recommandés.

J'ai beaucoup appris grâce à la formation de guide de randonnée. Les formateurs sont bien informés et expliquent tout en détail, même les mots inconnus. La formation en ligne est conviviale, même si vous manquez un ou deux cours, les informations pour rattraper le retard sont toujours disponibles. Je ???? % recommande cette formation à tous ceux qui souhaitent se lancer dans le métier de guide de randonnée.

The last week of februari 2024 I joined a birding course in the Makuleke concession in northern Kruger Park. Thanks to Duncan, Ross, Nathan, Adriaan, Kyra, and Vicky and her staff members it was a week of feeling great and feeling humble at the same time for all the magnificent birds, game and scenery I saw.
I felt very privileged to get 'educated' by Duncan and Ross. They share so much love for where they live and have such a marvelous and enthusiastic way of sharing their knowledge that the only thing you can regret after the week is the ending of it.
Thanks to all of you in that beautiful camp in the Makuleke concession, with no internet, no radios or tv's, barely electricity, delicious meals, clean tents and a very friendly staff.
Would I recommend this course to other people? oh yes I will. And maybe we might meet, cause I know for sure that I will be back again.

What an absolutely amazing experience! Went on a 4 day birding trip to Makuleke Concession and was blown away by die beautiful accomodation and the friendly staff. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and patient and will explain anything into the most minute detail. 1000/10 would absolutely recommend!!

Ons het die voelnaweek bygewoon. Die gidse was uitstekend en al die personeel vriendelik. Dit was lekker om met tromme wakker gemaak te word en die kos was uit die boonste rakke! Ons het baie van die verblyf gehou en sal dit graag weer wil bywoon!

Good experience however— very disorganized and less professional than you’d expect for the price. They should focus more on the quality of the experience for their students, and ensuring they have the depth of experience needed for their internships and potential careers in guiding. It’s more of a safari booking place with an educational/gap year “hook”.

So many missed opportunities to mention.

What was once an abhorrent hunting "farm" is now an integral centre for training guides. Engaging elephants, elusive leopards, happening hyenas and a wide variety of other creatures call this place home.
