HÔTEL MARMARA

Just returned from a solo 5 day trip to the City. Really good location of the hotel but being so close a main road and the tram, there is a lot of noise at night time (which can't be helped). Lovely staff on the front desk and no issues with cleaning staff. Breakfast I felt was quite limited but good to have a pastry and coffee and go about your day. Overall quite basic but meets your needs as not much time is spent in the hotel when you are exploring this wonderful city.

The hotel’s staff consists of thieves and incompetent people, who don’t care about the image of the hotel and how their guests experience their stay there. Stealing of money and arrogant staff may be one of the things, which you may encounter if you happen to chose it for your stay. I wouldn’t reccomend to anyone.

3 Sterne Hotel, sehr alt teilweise. Das Zimmer ist sehr dreckig, Staub in allen Ecken un Wänden. Betten sind komplett durchgelegen und der Abfluss im Bad ist verstopft. Frühstück geht, nichts besonderes.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want to avoid getting robbed off by the maids, don't book this hotel. During breakfast I was robbed by the employees of this hotel. After I got back to my room and got my handbag I found it was open and inside was my wallet which was also open with money sticking out. I got super nervous about the situation and went to the reception, where I was also not greeted with understanding and willingness to help from them. Two extremely incompetent women were on duty. I was told they would check if the maid was in the room on the cards that are checked by the maids at the door upon entry. E proved that the maid had been in the room, but explained that she was only making the bed. What thief will confess? They make me feel crazy. Several times a day I go to the receptionists and ask if they have a solution to my problem - and they pretend not to understand. Extremely incompetent and unfriendly staff. They didn't even apologize for the whole situation. To all people planning to stay at this hotel, I advise them not to do it.
