IKONIK PARLAMENT ^{* * * *}

일단 숙소의 위치가 너무 좋다. 국회의사당 바로 뒤쪽이라 앞쪽까지 나가기가 너무 쉽고 교통도 주변에 바로 위치해 있어서 멀리 나가는 것도 편하다. 주변에 많은 음식점들도 있다. 직원들이 매우 친절하고 1층의 무료 바가 있어서 24시간 커피와 음료수 등을 마실 수 있어서 좋았다.

Our stay at the Ikonik Parliament was horrible.
The first day in Budapest, when we returned to the hotel room, we saw that my gf's travel jewelry box had been opened and a gold medal, a baptism gift, was missing. We immediately went down to talk to the front desk person to tell him that someone had tampered with our luggage and STOLEN one of my jewelry.
Although the hotel told us that they were going to start an investigation, in the end they did absolutely nothing. The surprising thing is that they checked the electronic record of room entries, and the morning the medal was stolen, the cleaning staff entered our room up to THREE times. To our surprise, the hotel told us that this was a normal practice. We were spechless.
But it doesn't end there. During our stay, we saw that housekeeping staff routinely left guest rooms open without supervision for long periods of time while they were away from cleaning. According to the Hotel, this practice was also normal.
The hotel manager, an unpresentable person, did not appear until the last day of our stay in Budapest, three days after the robbery, only to tell us that it was our fault for not using the room safety deposit box and to exempt the hotel from any liability. Anyway, it seems that it was our fault for assuming that we should not worry about theft when staying in a hotel of the “EUROSTARS” chain.

Nuestra estancia en el Ikonik Parliament fue horrible.
El primer día en Budapest, cuando volvimos a la habitación del hotel, vimos que mi joyero de viaje había sido abierto y manipulado y faltaba una medalla de oro, regalo de bautizo. Inmediatamente bajamos a hablar con el encargado de recepción para decirle que alguien había manipulado nuestro equipaje y había ROBADO una de mis joyas.
Aunque el hotel nos dijo que iban a iniciar una investigación, finalmente no hicieron absolutamente nada. Lo sorprendente es que revisaron el registro electrónico de entradas a la habitación, y la mañana que la medalla fue robada, el personal de limpieza entró hasta TRES veces a nuestra habitación. Para nuestra sorpresa, el Hotel nos dijo que esto era una práctica normal. Es increíble.
Pero no queda ahí. Durante nuestra estancia vimos que el personal de limpieza dejaba abiertas habitualmente las habitaciones de los huéspedes sin supervisión alguna durante largos periodos de tiempo, mientras se ausentaban de realizar las labores de limpieza. Según el Hotel, esta práctica también era normal.
El Manager del hotel, un auténtico impresentable, no apareció hasta el último día de nuestra estancia en Budapest, tres días después del robo, para decirnos que era culpa nuestra por no utilizar la caja de seguridad de la habitación y eximir al hotel de cualquier responsabilidad. En fin, será culpa nuestra dar por sentado que no deberíamos preocuparnos por robos cuando te alojas en un hotel de la cadena “EUROSTARS”.

El hotel es ideal, tiene sauna que al llegar con mucho frío es un gran alivio para recuperar fuerzas. El personal es muy amable, y hacen todo lo posible por entenderte. Hablan inglés perfectamente.
Tiene un espacio de café, te y jugo de naranja 24/7 y gratis. En un espacio súper elegante y caliente.
Excelente opción y todo esta muy cerca para ir caminando. Lo más lejos es la zona judía pero se puede llegar caminando.
Muy recomendado calidad - precio.
Muy acogedor.
