Dincolo de experienta extraordinara la care ne asteptam, de personalul deosebit de atent si de competent , am ramas impresionati de maniera in care niste legume in general nesemnigicative ca gust cum este castravetele, ridichea, sparanghelul au fost puse in valoare devenind astfel preparate de exceptie . My dining experience at Borkonyha WineKitchen was truly exceptional. Opting for the 6-course menu, I was treated to a culinary journey where each dish showcased unique flavors and locally sourced produce. From start to finish, every course was a masterpiece in itself, demonstrating the skill and creativity of the chefs. The service was impeccable, with the staff providing attentive and friendly assistance throughout the meal. Good food, Warm service. This is Almost as good as Gundel which is our no.1 choice in Budapest. The bread here is excellent and I am a bread person, my family owned a bakery shop for more than three decades. The sauces that came with the bread made me eat more bread than I would want! Welcome dish is such a treat.

Main dish: The fish and duck is well done, Anges beef is done just right with the sauces I like. Although, the meat texture is not top rated, after all beef in this country doesn't match up to USDA Beef, so the Chief has done well on preparing the beef. We are satisfied.

Pictures will speak the rest. We are all very happy for this meal.

Amazing. Spectacular wine pairings and flavor combinations. Even an unrefined palette can appreciate this culinary adventure.
Beautiful presentation, thought provoking concepts, fantastic taste, all without pretention.

Very expensive, but well worth it.

Every staff member dilligently works to prove they deserve their Michelen star.

Fantastic restaurant. Attentive service but not overbearing in any way. Amazing food and great local wine pairings. Nothing was over the top and the entire experience was relaxed and comfortable. The 6 course tasting menu was really interesting and had the most amazing flavours.

Kiváló lokáció, a város közepén, könnyen megközelíthető. Többször próbáltam egyébként telefonon foglalni mind a két honlapon megadott számon, de nem jártam sikerrel. Végül valamelyik nap arra jártunk és bementem személyesen asztalt foglalni biztos ami biztos.
A hely maga szép, a belső része hangulatos, telt ház volt, vasárnap ebéd időben, és ennek köszönhetően elég zajos volt, sokszor nem hallottuk, mit mond a pincér. Fejenként 3 fogást rendeltünk (nagyon szuper, hogy ala carte étlap is van) kaptunk pluszban egy kis kovászos kenyeret, füstölt vajjal plusz még valamivel, aminek a neve nem jut eszembe :) nagyon ízletes volt, és egy kis amuse-bouche-t. A fogasok mind nagyon ízletesek voltak, nekem kifejezetten az előétel és a desszert ízlett a legjobban, a főétel a mangalica egy kicsit rágós volt, de a többi kompenzált érte. A fél liter víz ára egy kicsit borsos szerintem. A pincérek mind nagyon kedvesek és segítőkészek voltak ????

The tasting menu and wine pairing were excellent. The venison especially was delicious. The waiter was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about wine. My partner doesn't eat fish but they were happy to swap out the fish dish from the tasting menu with another dish which meant she could enjoy the rest of the tasting menu - superb service.

Incredible value for price! Highly recommend the trout for a starter. Service was super friendly and even received a box of chocolates as a gift! A must visit - note they do lunches in March only. Visit while you can!

DO NOT GO THIS RESTAURANT.

We ordered a glass of wine, and they charged me a bottle of wine.
When I complained, they said it will refund ASAP.
And this is the story of 2022.

Can you belive it?
I sent e mail so many times, and they always replied "please wait. we will refund".

If you still want to visit here, please check your bill carefully.

As someone who tries a Michelin restaurant in each city I visit the food was fine. No dish to stay in the memory but the wine! The wine! Had the premium matching wine and I would happily turn up here every night to drink the wine. Wanted a chance to try the best of Hungarian wine and was given it in spades here. Last wine flight I had at a Michelin restaurant was in burgundy and this absolutely out did it
