Booked a table at Spoon for a date night with my partner while visiting Budapest and we were amazed by the location, the food and the service!

First up was a simple piece of bread and butter, but the quality of the bread and the taste of the butter were outstanding. During this time we ordered 2 Pineapple Express cocktails.

Then the starters of the Ramen soup and Pea veloute were out of this world. We were so looking forward for what’s up next.

We ordered the Penne Arrabiata and the Skin Roasted Chicken with Risotto. Both dishes tasted amazing and the portion size was more than enough but still felt good after!

You cannot end a meal without any dessert, so we ordered the Caramel Mousse, Peanut and Apricot and the Choux White Chocolate. Both options were tasty and amazing but the Caramel Mousse was something else! Easily of the best desserts I have ever tried.

This whole meal was washed down by 2 Palinka’s on the house, which ended a beautiful night out on the Danube with views of the lit up Buda Castle.

We were served by Peter, who gave us his recommendations on what to order, and his friendly character made us feel welcome and his attention for whatever we needed during our time there!

10/10 recommended and well worth the money paid!

Ein wirklich schönes und außergewöhnliches Ambiente.
Super Service und das Essen war wirklich hervorragend.
Außerdem hat man vom Schiff aus eine wunderschöne Aussicht.

A lovely place on a boat, with a view to the banks of Danube. Budapest is a beautiful capital and Spoon is a place to enjoy when you visit.
