Food was ok but nothing special, It came out extremely fast and not piping hot. It's a very busy spot with high traffic, lots of people coming in and out. Not at all relaxing. On the positive note, workers are friendly.

מסעדה הונגרית אסלית, אין לי שמץ של מושג למה כתוב בכלל "קפה" בשם של המסעדה כי לא היה בכלל בתפריט.
אבל!
אוכל מצוין.
סטייק עם המון מיצים ותיבול מצוין, שניצל וינאי קריספי טעים מאוד, גולאש (למי שמחפש לאכול בהונגריה) יוצא מן הכלל עם בשר רך ומיקום מעולה לחוות את הקולינריה ההונגרית במיטבה (מחירים סבירים להונגריה).
המלצרים מאוד מקסימים וחייכניים, האווירה נעימה.
מומלץ לפתוח חלונות, מזג אוויר מצוין בבודפשט וממש חנוק בתוך המסעדה.

This place is the absolute best you'll find for traditional Hungarian food in Budapest. The wait staff are super attentive and friendly, the service is fast and the food is perfect. Highly reccomend the steak tartare and goulash. Honestly, you won't be disappointed here. Book ahead as its a small venue and will get very busy as it's so popular.

We came here for dinner yesterday, looking for some Hungarian food. Although the food was nice, we were a bit let down by the service: we got our table but waited for 10 min to receive the menu while the waiters were idle, chatting by the bar. Empty plates remained on the table until the end, as the waiters would either ignore them when they came to us or stay chatting by the bar. Despite it all, we had to pay for service.
Service aside, the food was very tasty. We really enjoyed the duck leg, it was cooked to perfection! The chicken goulash and the breaded Courgette were also lovely. Dessert was not on the same level for us but we enjoyed it anyway.

Pedimos solomillo de ternera y pollo rebozado. Falta de limpieza en la barra con capa de polvo de semanas, así que no imagino como estará la cocina por dentro.

Loved the food here! It gets busy so highly recommend to book a table than do a walk in. We had a goulash stew, duck and lamb! Each was very delicious. The wine we had was light, refreshing and quite sweet, a nice recommendation by the staff.

Fue un acierto gracias a la recomendación que nos hizo el guía del tours. Todo estaba buenísimo y bastante económico. Pedimos tartar y pato con salsa de mandarina. Sitio totalmente recomendable

Awesome, and I mean awesome little cafe just steps away from St. Stephen’s. We ordered the lamb goulash stew with noodles and the oven baked duck leg with mashed potatoes and cabbage. The goulash was quintessential, noodles a tad bland but overall very nice. The duck was perfect. Cold beers on tap was cherry on top. Highly recommend when in Budapest.

Era uno de los restaurantes que teníamos apuntados y además estaba en la lista de los que recomendaba una de las guías de los tour que hicimos. Pedimos el goulash tanto en formato de sopa como de estofado acompañado de buñuelos de patata; de postre, el puré de castaña (un poco raro, parecían fideos) y el "somlói", uno de los más famosos del país. Estaba todo muy rico, muy buena calidad. Sin embargo, el precio de las dos botellas de agua pensamos que fue algo excesivo, a lo que se añadió el concepto de servicio del 12% del total, saliendo por unos 9260 Ft por persona. Recomendable sin duda por la calidad de la comida, pero con atención a lo que se cobra.

Incredible food! I quite like duck and eat it at many places and this was quite possibly the best duck I've ever had. The salami starter was also really good. 'Chestnut puree' doesn't sound like much, and I've hardly ever had chestnuts, so I googled it first. It was really good - too rich for me to finish but I'm glad I tried it.

I am an American tourists and went to this restaurant twice during my stay here for dinner.

The food was excellent and local and I enjoyed the Hungarian dishes.

Prices were reasonable and the service was good. Look for their daily specials as well.

Sabor excelente. Pato en salsa de mandarina muy bueno y suave. Milanesa empanizada de pollo también muy buena. Ensalada de pepino buena. Precio para 2 personas: una bebida y un solo plato por persona, €42 incluyendo servicio.

I would not recommend this restaurent if you wants to try tasty food. Very basic food and many dishes are made with breadcrumbs and fried like in fast food places. We tried far more tasty restaurants with local dishes In Budapest.

Lidt som cafeteria mad, fra vi bestilte og til det kom gik der kun 5 min. Maden var lunken og en underlig sammensætning, Jeg fik stroganoff med kroketter og min mand, andebryst i mandarin sauce med ris til. Prisen var alt for høj i forhold til prisen.
