We stayed almost 2 weeks and it was the best place we could have spent our holidays. The location was perfect: right in the city centre but quiet at the same time. We loved the room which was always clean and has a lovely balcony where we spent a lot of time reading and relaxing :)
The breakfast is great and is served in the beautiful garden where Giannis grows a lot of veggies and fruits. Giannis was the best. He’s a great man with a good heart, he always made us smile, gave us great tips and helped us out wherever he could.

Δωμάτια καθαρά, πολύ όμορφη και ήσυχη τοποθεσία μέσα στη παλιά πόλη του Ρεθύμνου και πολύ φιλική και ικανοποιητική εξυπηρέτηση από τον οικοδεσπότη Γιάννη μαζί με τη γυναίκα του!!! Ευχαριστούμε και θα ξαναρθουμε σίγουρα!!!

A beautiful place with heart and soul!

We came here for the first time, unprepared, and we searched for a place to stay. Like every other touristic place, Rethymno has a lot to offer when it comes to good accommodation. But, after we met a lovely owner of Castello, we knew our search was over. The rooms were perfectly clean, had everything we needed for a pleasant vacation, and breakfast was served in the peaceful garden. But, the most important thing for us was how lovely, kind, and friendly the owner and his family were. That was an experience we will cherish forever! He was so helpful, gave us great advices, and made our time in Rethymno unforgettable. We give our full recommendation to this place, and we can't wait to come again and see you again!
