Our tour was wonderful.

Vincent was our guide for a very personal Olive Oil Mill and Winery tour. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to show us around. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and interesting to talk to. He explained all about the process of olive oil production from tree propagation to bottling, then we got to have a nice tasting.

We continued on to a lovely winery in the hills and had some great wines and snacks under a grape vine shaded terrace. After the tasting we were able to walk through their cellar which had plenty of history behind it.

We finished with a delicious lunch at a local taverna in a tiny village further up into the hills. It was refreshing to have a day full of local flavor away from the tourist heavy main cities. We would have never discovered any of these locations without this small group tour.

We would 100% recommend and rebook a tour through Eco Events, and we would request Vincent as our guide again. We hope to come back to Crete soon and enjoy some hiking with him leading the way. Thanks Vincent!

Nora was our guide and she was just lovely. We enjoyed our walkabout old town and history through architecture. The food was delicious and abundant. Nora choose dishes for us we never would have known to choose. This is a wonderful tour and if you are lucky you will get Nora.

We had a wonderful day with Nora in getting acquainted with Cretan life. Visiting Andreas farm with sheeps and goats and having a delicious lunch with Eleni and Andreas at their home, all the food was made from their own products. We feldt that we were cared.
