We had the most amazing experience at the Alcanea Boutique Hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and with all the amenities needed. Comfortable bed and amazing breakfast with a breath taking view. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they made our stay in Chania the most enjoyable experience.

I didn’t spend the night there but I stopped here during my trip to Crete as it’s such a lovely place, the coffee was delicious and the staff were lovely, so clean and beautiful place and the views from the terrace were amazing, there’s a few places around the harbour but I think this is the best. Love it!!

Exceptional staff on an impressive property. Stayed here over two separate weekends for our elopement in Crete. Eva, the manager and her team were fantastic, exceeding our expectations - every day. The historic property is in the perfect location to explore the port city of Chania and beyond. The decor blends traditional and contemporary tastefully. We will definitely return!

We were warmly welcomed by Eva which set the stage for a wonderful stay at Alcanea Boutique Hotel. Our room was charming and comfortable and we enjoyed using the sitting area in the courtyard. The hotel is well located with a view on the port while set back so that it is not in the bustle pedestrian traffic. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and special options were prepared for the gluten free and dairy free needs of one diner. Our laundry was done in one day and well organized by the hotel. Next time we need to stay longer!

If I could give this place more stars, I would! My partner and I spent three nights in Chania and enjoyed our stay at the Alcanea. Eva and the rest of the staff -were kind, welcoming and warm. My boyfriend and I even found ourselves stuck in Crete longer than we expected and Eva was kind of enough to offer recommendations and insight into other accommodations. The location of Alcanea is ideal for all visitors, since it’s close to restaurants, shops with views of the sea and lighthouse. The complimentary breakfast was delicious too. Thank you again for a wonderful first visit to Crete/Chania. You made our trip to Greece all the more better!
