Though the weather was mostly cloudy with periods of sprinkles, this was a fabulous evening of great food, service, and wine! I had the Cretan Porter to start the evening which was rich but not heavy. My dinner was lamb chops with a Greek Merlot that made a fabulous pairing. I was treated with a light and delicious dessert and Tsikoudia to finish off the memorable last meal in Chania Crete

Long time we are looking for dishes with good price at the centre of the city.
Here it was fast order and taste.
I can recommend this restaurant - if you want to try „everything” they have mix of grill, sea food or Greek specialties.
Friendly staff - they didn't persuade for us like others when we are walking around some places. Here you have also nice view.

Hier stimmt alles! Wir hatten ganzen Fisch, sensationelle Preise und sehr leckeres, frisches Essen. Freundlicher Service wobei wir es merkwürdig waren, dass von fünf Angestellten nur zwei arbeiteten. Naja, nicht unser Problem!

Excellent Accueil, le cadre est splendide en terrasse, la nourriture est délicieuse et copieuse, les serveurs super sympas, vous pouvez vous y rendre les yeux fermés ????????????????Le must, au moment de régler l'addition, Petite pâtisserie avec boule de glace vanille et raki offerts!

Der Blick auf den Hafen und den Leuchtturm ist immer wundervoll, besonders auch bei Sonnenuntergang.
Der Service war mit Abstand der freundlichste, zuvorkommenste und sympathischste, den wir in Chania erlebt haben.
Sehr empfehlen können wir das Chicken-Souvlaki und das gegrillte Gemüse.
Zum Abschluss gibt es kostenlos ein großzügiges Dessert, z.B. Eis mit einem süßen Kuchen und Raki.
Ein tolles Restaurant!

Nestled in the historic Venetian town of Chania, our lunch at Plateia was a delightful experience. The view of the old port and lighthouse added charm to our meal.

We kicked off with a grilled veggie starter, nicely flavored with olive oil and balsamic. The mains, house-smoked pancetta with pasta and steamed mussels, were fresh and well-seasoned.A complimentary dessert and raki capped off our meal nicely.

Overall, Plateia offered a pleasant dining experience with tasty dishes and a lovely view of Chania's old port.

Ωραίο φαγητό σε έναν άνετο χώρο με άψογη εξυπηρέτηση. Εμείς παραγγείλαμε ψαρικά και κρέας, δοκιμάσαμε τις αλοιφές και τις σαλάτες τους. Μείναμε ευχαριστημένοι από όλα, οι τιμές είναι ανάλογες με την τοποθεσία και την θέα του μαγαζιού σε ένα από τα πιο κεντρικά σημεία στην παλιά πόλη.Στο τέλος μας κέρασαν ραβανί με παγωτό και ρακί. Θα ξανά πήγαινα.

Service was very welcoming and friendly.
Food was OK - the meat was a bit dry and the fried fish was rather heavy, oily and not too crispy. Prices are adequate for the location at the port. Thank you for the Raki at the end of the meal!
It’s a good choice for a quick bite to enjoy the nice view or sunset.

I couldn’t comprehend the flavors I was tasting. Course by course the food was delightful. Amazing is an understatement . If you are in the area this place is a must.
