nous avons été diner sur les conseils des guides. Il ne donne pas sur une belle vue car il y a un parking devant, mais nous avons demandé à manger dedans car il faisait frais. En avril nous avons pas réservé et nous étions que 2 alors ils nous ont accepté. Il faut y aller pour manger crétois et en particulier de la viande. Nous avons tous les deux pris de l'agneau, très bien migoté. C'était servi avec des pomme de terre et l'autre des frites. Ils ne poussent pas à la consommation. Le service est rapide. Lors de l'addition ils ont apporté des petites boules frits avec un digestif. Le prix était correct pour la qualité de la viande.

Ειμαστε ενθουσιασμενοι με αυτο το μαγαζι. Τελεια ατμοσφαιρα, πολυ ευγενικο προσωπικο κι το φαι ηταν ολα τα λεφτα. Πρωτη φορα φαγαμε τοση ωραια ψημενη μπριζολα και το κοτοπουλο ηταν τοσο καλα ψημενο που ελιωνε στο στομα . Η τσικουδια και οι λουκουμαδες στο τελος ηταν το αποκορυφωμα. Σιγουρα οταν ερθουμε ξανα Κρητη, θα το τιμησουμε το μαγαζι.

Excellent food and service with normal proces. The octopus was amazing. They cook everything in a traditional oven. Also very good house wine.

The food is OK but way too expensive. The service was terrible the day that we were there and no effort from the staff to acknowledge the situation. Overall, an overrated restaurant that I will not visit again.

Our culinary journey at Christostomos in Chania was nothing short of exceptional. Delicious food, great value for money, attentive waiters!

They quickly served us some excellent bread and olives. We also had fava beans and Tzaziki as starters and each a beef stew as a main course. After that Ouzo, they served was more than welcome to deal with the amount of food.

Enjoyed it a lot!
Next time we go to Chania, we will definitely come back.

Ευχάριστη έκπληξη! Παραγγείλαμε φαγητό μέσω efood και ανοίγοντας το πακέτο εκτός από την παραγγελία μας ανακαλύψαμε χειροποίητο ψωμί στον ξυλόφουρνο κι τους περίφημους λουκουμάδες του εστιατορίου (χωρίς χρέωση!)
Εξαιρετικό κρητικό φαγητό με ποιότητα και φρέσκα υλικά. Ιδανικό για να δοκιμάσετε παραδοσιακές γεύσεις τις ελληνικής κουζίνας.

Super friendly and accomodating.
I had the lamb liver/lung/heart/kidney appetizer and the fried snails. Both were amazing. One of my best meals so far in Greece.
The dessert and drink at the end were delicious as well.

Leider die schlechteste Restauranterfahrung, die wir auf Kreta gemacht haben. Durch die vielen guten Bewertungen und das urig wirkende Ambiente, dass der recht schlechten Lage des Parkplatzes trotzt, hatten wir Samstags Abends einen Tisch reserviert. Das war aber eine Fehlentscheidung. Der Kellner war durchweg uninteressiert und bevormundend, das Essen war einfach schlecht. Das Lamm bestand halb nur aus Fett, komplett ungewürzt (nicht mal Pfeffer) und die Portion Pommes Frites war auch labbrig. Das Kaninchen, das als „in Weißweinsoße und kretischen Kräutern gegart“ auf der Karte beworben wurde, war komplett ungleich gegart, und von Weißweinaroma war keine Spur zu merken. Dass das Brot, das mit den Worten „for you“ auf den Tisch gestellt wurde, gleich doppelt berechnet worden ist, war eigentlich eine absolute Frechheit und haben wir auf Kreta auch nicht erlebt. Dafür war es allerdings wirklich lecker und anscheinend selbst gebacken, deswegen gibt es immerhin 1 Stern fürs Essen. Vielleicht lags an einem schlechten Tag, aber ich würde von einem Besuch hier abraten.

Nice place with great beef in wine sauce, perfect bread. If you want eat something on Chania, delicious from greek cuisne, definetly you have to visit this restaurant. Big portion, very kind staff, free deserts and bread. We will come back :)

Super freundlicher, schneller Service.
Die Vorspeisen waren gut. Das Ofto Lamm war leider überhaupt nicht knusprig gegrillt, die Haut war komplett weich. Das Steak war etwas zäh.

Αυτή τη στιγμή είμαστε στο μαγαζί και τρώμε οι γεύσεις σε απογειώνουν ένα από τα καλύτερα μαγαζιά στα Χανιά τι άλλο μπορείς να πεις γι’ αυτό το μαγαζί απλά συγχαρητήρια οι τιμές είναι τέλειες. Αλλά το βασικό το φαγητό σου στέλνει στο θεό. Και πάλι συγχαρητήρια 30 πιάτα

Absolut perfekt. Riesenportionen, entspanntes Ambiente, sprechen gut Englisch. Hinterher gab's kostenlos einen genialen Nachtisch. Definitiv kein Tourinap wie am Kai direkt. Würde wieder hingehen!

Incredible food quality and generous portion sizes. Good service and small dessert and Raki on the house - this is what Greek hospitality looks like! The house wine is the best in town. Don’t miss this place when you’re in Chania!

Υπέροχη παραδοσιακή κρητική κουζίνα!! Νοστιμότατο φρέσκοψημένο ψωμάκι στον ξυλοφουρνο και ποικιλία στο μενού με πολύ νόστιμες επιλογές. Ευχάριστο περιβάλλον και άψογη εξυπηρέτηση!! Το προτιμάμε αρκετά συχνά!!

Παρόλο που έχει καλές κριτικές βρήκαμε το φαγητό μέτριο σε γεύση συνολικά σε ότι παραγγείλαμε. Οι λουκουμάδες επίσης στο τέλος δεν ήταν καθόλου νόστιμοι. Στα θετικά οι μεγάλες μερίδες και η γρήγορη εξυπηρέτηση.Οι τιμές αρκετά υψηλές αν και αυτό δυστυχώς αφορά την πλειοψηφία των μαγαζιών εστίασης.

Restaurant Chrisostomos

Endroit sympathique où l'on déguste des plats locaux. Nous y sommes allés en novembre , le restaurant était peu fréquenté et nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour avoir de la place. Ils fabriquent le pain, il est tout chaud. Nous avons testé les escargots et l'agneau. C'était délicieux. Les serveurs étaient aimables mais un peu éteints. SERVICE RAPIDE . Une très bonne adresse à la Canée.

Le réstaurant se trouve dans une rue interne derrier la promenade sur le port. Un vrai réstaurant, ou on va pour manger de la viande. Le pain est chaud, l'agneau tendre. Accueil trés gentil. Je le réccomend.
