We rented a car one day and had a really great day site seeing the beautiful island. There are all sorts of fun activities on site and all kinds of vehicle rentals within a few meters of the resort.
A bus trip to Chania is also highly recommended.
The staff is second to none.

The welcome was amazing. We had slept in an airport and were exhausted. Our room was ready at 9:30!
The food has been great, even though we are at the end of the season. I am a vegetarian and there are lots of options. Meat eater husband happy. We did not go to Italian a la carte, buffet has been satisfying, and not yet to Cretan. Taka taka has great snacks. Crepes and veggie burgers. Hallomi. Lots of fruit and veg everywhere, all day.
Looks like kids have fun at mini disco. Entertainment is fine. Not really a focus for us.
I would highly recommend. This is the best food I’ve had in an all inclusive. And the staff is super. The open kitchen is very nice touch.
Bus from airport is easy. 1.5 euro. Station across from arrivals in parking lot. Bus 6. Buy ticket from machine or booth. Watch monitor on bus and arrive right in front of hotel in 35 minutes. We have walked to city from resort.
Beach is lovely. Not the easiest walking sand but nice. Lots of chairs but it is end of season.
3 pools. One heated which was nice in early November.
Room is ok. Clean. I would recommend bringing an extension cord if you need next to your bed as there are very few outlets.

Buffet en all inclusive un peu limité dans la variété des produits qui sont utilisés en différentes recettes les jours suivants. Des entrées peu variées essentiellement crudités.
Même hors saison réservation impossible à la taverne grecque de l' hôtel c'est anormal. Idem pour une réservation dans le restaurant italien de l' hôtel pour 5 personnes un seul jour disponible... A revoir
Les boissons à volonté comprises sont exhaustives mais suffisantes.
L'accueil de l' hôtel présente très bien le piscine chauffée un peu fatiguée...
Les chambres sont à rafraîchir, surtout les salles de bains !!!
Un bon séjour quand même.
