I was amazed by how close we could get to nature, despite being just a few hours away from San Jose.
During the night tour, we were able to observe the nocturnal animals such as basilisks, tarantulas, and working ants. On the early morning tour, we saw sloths, toucans, rare birds, and even rubber trees. It was a truly satisfying experience, and I'm in awe of the tour guides' knowledge and their ability to quickly spot animals.
The hotel staff were also very kind. It was very convenient that they setting a water dispenser near each room. We didn't have any trouble with getting enough water.
We also had the opportunity to try Costa Rican cuisine during the buffet dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious, especially the fresh fruits which were absolutely amazing.

Great place for nature watching..

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Etwas unscheinbar an der Hauptstrasse 4 gelegen. Hervorragende, sehr gepflegte Zimmer mit Regendusche, Klimaanlage und Deckenventilatoren. Unser Zimmer lag direkt an einem Fluß mitten im Regenwald. Man kann hier unglaublich viele Vogelarten, Frösche und andere Reptilien entdecken und fotografieren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker. Leider waren wir nur einen Tag auf unsrerer Rundreise vor Ort. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder....dann aber mit einem längeren Aufenthalt..????

Lieu exceptionnel chambre spacieuse ldu sol au plafond tout en bois environnement agréable avec la rivière petit bémol la restauration n est pas au niveau de l'hôtel et prix au dessus de la qualité hôtel à conseiller
Not so nice: Food is priced too high, drinks even higher. Rooms are only okay, quite damp.
