Only came to the restaurant so the review is not indicative of the hotel. It’s an OK burger. But it costs 15-17 bucks for what’s essentially a shake shack burger. Service was slow and sassy. Nothing terrible. Just an expensive and disappointing dinner when there’s other options in town.

Staying at Yaxa was such a lovely experience. It’s in the middle of everything, close to the beach and restaurants and all that Nosara has to offer, and yet it feels very tranquil. The owners are wonderful people who create a caring, laid-back vibe. Everyone who works there is sweet and helpful.

It’s a small hotel, just four or five casitas - which makes it feel homey. The casitas are simple yet well done. They are separated, so you never hear noise from your neighbors. The design of the entire place in fact is simple yet well done. The owner and the chef are excellent cooks. Breakfast was always a highlight of my day! We miss it and hope to return soon.

Aus meiner Sicht ist es zu teuer für das was es ist. Die Anlage ist ganz nett gemacht aber leider auch nicht das was man für 200 Dollar in der low Season erwarten kann. Das Zimmer war klein und leider auch ziemlich abgewohnt. Pool ist ok, könnte aber auch renoviert werden.
Frühstück war gut. Es gibt keine Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Nur auf der „Straße“.
Würde ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Wonderful boutique hotel; wonderful hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yaxa this past Feb. Lisa, Luca and Evo made us feel simultaneously at home and pampered. A true treasure. We look forward to returning!
