Attending a yoga retreat with friends.The surroundings are beautiful.The food is fresh and delicious. Our hosts are so welcoming.

We love everything about this magical place. It was also the cleanest and loveliest room we had in our entire 2 week stay in Costa Rica.

The food was fantastic and the staff so so nice. The grounds were nothing short of amazing. I fell in love with the natural pool and spent a lot of time there. We also opted to use the sauna which was located next to the pool so we could just jump right into the cooling water after a session.

I missed a bit of info upon arrival. For example, we didn’t know when mealtimes were or when the restaurant opened, so we were either too early or too late, but this didn’t take away from our overall experience.

Our little girl LOVED exploring the area around our room, picking up fallen leaves and flowers. We shared a terrace with another room, but it didn’t not feel private, and the view is just amazing.

If we’re ever back in Costa Rica, this would be one of our first stops ❤️

We were staying nearby and came here for dinner. Lovely people and excellent food! The pizza toppings were very fresh, and the dessert was fantastic (flan, homemade ice cream, chocolate lava cake). It was great to be able to enjoy a delicious meal and not worry about the drive back to our Airbnb!

It is hard to put into words how fantastic Mystica Lodge & Retreat Center is. It felt amazing from the minute we arrived to the tearful minute we had to leave. They take such good care of all of there guest, like they are family. The food was always amazing. I slept so good every night. The beauty of the the entire place is breathe taking. The only thing that made me sad was, that I was unable to see any howler monkeys with my own eyes. But a beautiful friend did and she was able to get amazing pictures. But of course that was not in Mystica's control. So if I could give more than 5 stars I would give them 100. Thank you so much Barbara for an epic adventure.

The place is beautiful. The food was a little salty, it was a small amount for the price. They should improve their vegan menu.
