Les oreillers sont vieux et grumeleux, les plafonds sont tachés de moisissure, les prix sont exorbitants pour des choses ridicules (faire payer une serviette de piscine, une tasse de glace au bar, etc. Le gérant (le fils du propriétaire) était prétentieux et grossier. De nos six séjours au Costa Rica, c'est le seul que nous avons regretté.

J'ai séjourné ici depuis avril 2004 et j'adore l'endroit. C'est hors des sentiers battus, ce n'est pas très chic, mais c'est de mieux en mieux et vous voulez rester dans la jungle de toute façon, je ne veux pas d'un hôtel Foo Foo. Et J est super Maria est toujours là plusieurs des nouvelles filles sont là et les gars et tout va bien. La nourriture dans les restaurants est exceptionnelle, la présentation est excellente.

Service clientèle minable. La communication est terrible. Booking indique qu'ils acceptent les animaux de compagnie. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel, ils nous ont dit que c'était 15 $ par animal, alors que dans l'un des commentaires, ils ont dit cinq mille colones. Et le directeur était irrespectueux et arrogant.

Ufff, par où commencer ! Tout d'abord, ce n'est PAS un hôtel 3 étoiles, je doute qu'il atteigne 2 ☹️. Sale, sentant le renfermé, tables collantes, sol plein de cheveux... une horreur. Le seul point positif était les serveurs et les cuisiniers le soir qui étaient sympathiques et efficaces. Je n'y retournerais pas même si c'était gratuit

Bon rapport qualité-prix et bon emplacement. Le restaurant était délicieux. Une belle piscine et des chambres de bonne taille avec un beau balcon avec un hamac.

C'est un bon rapport qualité prix, les chambres sont bien, le mieux c'est le service et bien que l'accès soit raide, il est compensé par la préparation des boissons et des plats...ça vaut le coup.

Nous avons adoré. Le prix nous a semblé raisonnable, la chambre avait la climatisation, le lit était très confortable et propre, nous avons aimé le fait qu'elle ait un balcon et un hamac, la vue était sur le jardin.
Le service client était excellent, au bar Fabian nous a préparé de délicieux cocktails, notamment un au goût de brownie, c'était un moment très agréable, le dîner était délicieux le carpaccio de poulpe en entrée et un hamburger fait maison

L'hôtel est agréable, mais n'a rien de spécial. Dans l'ensemble, il semble un peu délabré. Le personnel ne semblait pas très attentif. Les chambres sont assez petites.

Very efficient and friendly service. Clean rooms. Old but good. Scenic pool, also at night time. The restaurant serves pretty tasty stuff. Yummy. Good situated next to a bus stop. Recommand the house!

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel et tout son personnel super gentil, attentionné.
Les chambres sont propres , spacieuses avec des hamacs sur les terrasses. La piscine est bien entretenue, grande. Les cocktails sont supers et le restaurant est délicieux . Rapport qualité/prix inégalable dans la zone pour nous .

NO RESERVAR. Nuestra habitación tenía moho en todo el techo y en los somieres. Insalubre estar ahí dentro y respirar eso. A la piscina le faltaban un montón de azulejos, peligroso para niños pequeños, y toda el área de afuera estaba sucia, completamente descuidada. Íbamos a quedarnos 4 noches y no dormimos ni una sola, el dueño se excusó diciendo que sabía que tenía cosas que mejorar pero que no se podía hacer todo a la vez. Ese hotel no está para alquilar habitaciones a nadie, y no entiendo como puede tener las reviews que tiene de Booking y Google. En serio, no vayan, no reserven, está fatal y encima caro, una vergüenza.

I just finished an 8 night stay at this hotel, what an experience. I cannot say anything negative about this place - yes, it may be dated, but, like some other poster mentioned, we are not in downtown New York or LA.
The food was 100% top quality, the service from the bar staff, the registration and house keeping 100%
Andre, I wish I could remember all the names of your staff, only Jesus, excellent bartender- him and his partner were the best.
The morning breakfast was just enough to get me going.
But, in all honesty, the one bad thing about the place is location on the hill - the walk to and back from Quepos almost killed me - lol

Close to Manuel Antonio Beach with the car.
It’s a 10 drive to the beautiful beach and National Park.
The pool is pleasant after a day at the beach and the breakfast is very good!
The view in the “jungle” from the balcony is great. Each balcony has his own hammock.

Muy buen lugar para un plan económico, el desayuno rico, para quienes quieren pasar todo el día en la playa y regresar a descansar a una habitación limpia, cómoda y fresca. La piscina es bastante amplia y limpia.

Lo único que me llamó la atención es en el área de juegos se me subió una cucaracha mientras estaba sentada en una mesa en el computador, supongo que no hay mucha limpieza ahí en las mesas porque había aún migas de comida ajena o es que es una terraza abierta al lado de un lote baldío. Quizá fue algo trivial.

El hotel está en un sitio privilegiado pero le falta mantenimiento, limpieza y un lavadito de cara, se ha quedado obsoleto. La WiFi va muy regular. El trato también necesita un cambio en mi opinion, sobre todo por parte del responsable. No está al nivel de lo que recibes en la mayoría de los sitios del país.

La cena y desayuno muy ricos, y el personal muy atento.
Las habitaciones están algo viejas y dan aspecto de descuidado, pero las camas eran confortables y hemos dormido bien. Si bien es cierto que se oye fácilmente lo que pasa fuera de la habitación, en las horas de descanso (9p.m - 6 a.m aprox) no hemos tenido problemas.
Al estar lejos del centro y sin accesibilidad peatonal, hay que moverse en coche para entrar y salir del hotel.

This was by far my worst experience regarding hotels so far. Avoid this hotel by all means. We arrived in the evening after an 10h trip by public Busses/Ferry from Santa Teresa. The next morning we left to Manuel Antonio for the day. When we got back we noticed, that the mattresses were completely covered in mould. We did not notice it earlier because we were too tired from the trip. I confronted the manager about it, because we couldn’t be staying another night in a room like this due to healthy reason. The manager said that he knows of the condition of the rooms and said somethings need to be updated and they are constantly working on it. As if this was an old chair we were talking about. The rooms are indeed very old a need to be updated, but that’s not unusual around here. The mould is a different story. He then said, that they are booked out, so they cannot offer us another room. We can get free drinks though. After talking to my travel mate we decided, that we would not stay the night. We then again talked to the manager who said he could give us 30$ back (we paid 150$ for two night… in a mouldy room, which is a lot for Costa Rica Standards). I was honestly very upset, cause he willingly risks his guests health by renting rooms like this. He said “that’s the business”… we were speechless and left. We then stayed the night at the Hotel Mono Azul which was just wonderful. And for the same price. So, stay there, when looking for a place! The Wi-Fi was not working in the room, only at the pool and dining area. We are staying in room 9, but heard from another couple, that their mattress was also mouldy.

the rest of the staff beside the manager was very kind, we have nothing bad to say about them

Very nicely located hotel. the rooms are OK with a small balcony and hammock. When I read some of the posts here I'm amazed at what these people expect. You are in Latin America and not in the Hilton New York. the pool is big and clean! The food is excellent and the cocktails are super tasty. In the end we felt very comfortable for the days. it is highly recommended this hotel. the staff is super friendly!! for the mid-range price it deserves one star ???? ????

Solo pasé dos noches, tienen una cocinera excelente, el mejor pinto que probé. Muy amables y con buena música. Solo me pareció absurdo un cartel de no admisión de mascotas y había una señora con su perro en la piscina.
