2 jours en immersion totale dans la jungle ! L’endroit est totalement dépaysant. La responsable est très accueillante et heureusement car les chambres sont quasi insalubres et le ménage laisse franchement à désirer. L’hôtel est à refaire totalement… les autres membres du personnel sont juste polis mais loin d’être accueillant comme la responsable. Enfin, devoir aller prépayer chaque boisson à la réception de l’autre hôtel (dont nous profitions de la piscine et du bar) est aussi très spécial… les repas (menu fixe sans choix) ressemblaient plus à la cantine scolaire qu’à la cuisine d’un hôtel digne de ce nom. Avis assez sévère mais réaliste malheureusement…

The room was basic but okay. Unfortunately the food was horrible. Basic dishes, but we found hair, plastic & metal in our found on different occasions.
Would be okay with staying in the cabins, but do not recommend eating here! It was an amazing experience to sleep in a cabin in the jungle. We saw wildlife all around such as monkeys, red frogs, iguana,…
You can use the pool from the hotel around the corner which is a really nice addition as the pool of Rana Roja looked like it hadn’t been in service for over a year.

Les chambres sont un peu vieillissantes mais le site est exceptionnel. Nous sommes complètement en immersion dans la jungle. Le personnel est sympathique et félicitations à Gisèle, la responsable, qui est très disponible, accueillante, et très professionnelle.

Très bien placé mais ne recommandons pas cette adresse.
No hot water, no internet ! Water was brown /red and smelly :( the furniture , everything is very old. Food was modest, basic, ok. Staff was nice. Location is in jungle, no civilizatiom comparing to tortuguero full of people. See attached foto
