The lodge is situated perfectly, at the beginning of the center yet completely isolated in a big and wonderful garden. Nolly and her team were incredibly welcoming and kind. I would highly recommend staying here, the lodge has a very long history and this adds big value. They arranged all our tours and transport - always finding a solution for our needs, making our stay just magical! For example, where other groups had to visit the turtles in large numbers we did it together with the owner - just the three of us! Many examples like this. As a bonus they also serve the best pico de gallo in all of Costa Rica for breakfast. So to summarise: your stay supports a family owned business with a long history for Tortuguero. You will not be disappointed.

We were there to eat breakfast only. I ate pancakes and it was so delicious. So only for the breakfast i would recommend to eat breakfast some time when you spend time on tortugero.

I had a good time at miss junies lodge. Big nice pool, rooms are comfortable and clean. Lots of animals to discover in the garden!! Breakfast was great. Dinner disappointment. Also some really sweet dogs on the property. The location is not ideal if you are alone, since it’s on the end of the long street. But the good thing is is that there is security on the property.

Chloied the guide from miss Junies was the best one on the whole trip. He knows a lot and discovered a lot of animals. He really touched me with his knowledge. Before going to Costa Rica, I had ideas about how Costa Rica would be. The tour with cloied was exactly what I had envisioned!

There was also a young guy working at breakfast. (Sorry difficult name :)). He was very friendly!

Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel (komplett mit Holz ausgestattet), wenn man Platzangst hat ist es nicht optimal. Das Bad ist auseinandergefallen, Wasser kam auch kaum aus dem Wasserhahn. Klimaanlage ist installiert, funktioniert aber nicht. Allgemein ist es sehr laut. Das Frühstück und der Service waren gut. Der Garten des Hotels ist schön, aber leider hat es überall Hundehaufen. Pool vorhanden, direkt am sehr wilden Meer. Der Standort ist optimal.
