Sehr schönes idyllisches kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Absolut zu empfehlen. Transfer in die City über Uber Absolut kein Problem.

After a long day of travel, we were thrilled with our stay here. We were warmly greeted and shown to Room 5 with plenty of space and a magnificent view. Sitting on the balcony, we slipped quickly into vacation mode. Great dinner recommendations. Lovely grounds to walk around. Safe and secure surroundings. And a lovely breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. A great start to our first time in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

We booked this hotel because it was near the airport and we arrived in San Jose late. But the rooms are spectacular, with a terrace overlooking a jungle. The owners are amazing. We wish we had booked them on our last night before we return to the airport to fly home.

They bring breakfast to your door so that you can eat on your terrace. The breakfast was simple (fresh fruit, croissants, toast, and coffee) but it hit the spot.

I am sitting on our patio, overlooking the forest, watching birds and sipping coffee. Hotel Pibi is a respite after our 3 weeks of travel in Costa Rica. What a perfect place to be before heading to the airport and home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, spacious rooms with lovely balcony and views. A great start to a Costa Rica trip or the end of it. Hospitable households. Picked us up from the airport and arranged a transfer the next morning to Poas volcano with a final stop at La Fortuna. We booked one more night at this hotel before flying home. Thank you for everything!

This place is a hidden gem! Mathew has gone above and beyond taking care of us. From the well appointed rooms, beautiful views, breakfast delivery to our door ….This place has it all. Highly recommend.

Geweldige start van onze vakantie in CR! De eigenaar haalde ons op van het vliegveld. Communicatie ging erg goed en stipt. Ontzettend lieve mensen en de kamer was heel fijn. Onze eerste toecans gezien!! Ontbijt ook fijn, op de kamer. Aanrader!

I liked the garden and forest view from the balcony. Screened door to balcony was my favorite feature of the room. I loved the breeze from the trees. Internet service went out at night but didn't want to wake up the owners. I wish there were a peephole on the door. This hotel made me stop wondering why portable door locks are on the market. Breakfast was wonderful, so I ate everything on the tray. Coffee tasted great, too. There's no phone in the room but owners were very responsive via WhatsApp. The hotel is under flight path but monkeys are as loud as planes elsewhere in Costa Rica. I appreciated airport shuttle both ways. Some hotels in San Jose offer the service only one way or charge as much as 37 dollars, so Pibi Boreal is reasonably priced.

Super close to San Jose. This is a great place to stay right after flying into Costa Rica to get settled and get your bearings. Or also a great place to stay at the end of a trip to Costa Rica if you need to catch an early flight the next day. Spotted 4 toucans the first morning right off our balcony.
