Guthiddai is a wonderful oasis in Sardinian countryside between Oliena and Sorgento Su Gologone. We re-visited after years, and again greatly enjoyed the friendly and positive hospitality, the wonderful five-course dinners in the cosy restaurant, and the reading-hours enjoyed on our balcony or in the garden (and the vermentino white wine that was on offer). Add to that the many interesting and beautiful places within easy reach, and you understand why staying at Guthiddai is a wonderful way to completely relax and recover.

Antonella's family business Guthiddai has now become a true home for me when I visit Sardinia. The beautiful rooms are a perfect expression of Sardinian hospitality and attention to detail.

The furnishings reflect the Sardinian heritage in a fascinating way, and I find it always inspiring to stay here.

But that's not all.

The in-house garden, which is lovingly cared for by Antonella and her family, is a paradise for connoisseurs. The ingredients for the homemade pasta and the herb salad come directly from this garden. Every bite is like a culinary journey through Sardinia, and you can taste the fresh quality in every dish.

And then there is the winegrowing and the home-pressed olive oil - both real highlights that capture the taste of Sardinia in every bottle. A dinner under the stars in the garden, accompanied by these delicacies and overlooking the breathtaking landscape and majestic mountains, is simply unforgettable.

I would like to thank Antonella and her family from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful time and personal hospitality. Your accommodation is not just a place to stay, but a place where you can fully enjoy the beauty and taste of Sardinia. A real gem on this wonderful island.

Sono stato qui a mangiare da sardo devo dire che è roba da super turisti. Antipasti scarsi a base di formaggio in tutti i modi. Primi da nouvelle cusine scarsissimi. Maialetto pessimo da 15 kg che nella traduzione sarda è pochettone. Nessun agriturismo in Sardegna lo venderebbe. Poi mi si porta il vino che in tutto gli agriturismo in Sardegna è compreso e invece conto da 130 euro. Conto che in Sardegna in agriturismo è impossibile da pagare. Per quella cifra mangi pesce fresco buonissimo. Esperienza da dimenticare. I turisti però andrannoo stesso pazienza.
