This place has buckets of charm. If you think of the furnishings as 'old fashioned' or complain about the air con or electrical sockets you are missing the point. It is crammed with beautiful objects, the staff is wonderful and the place utterly professional. The restaurant has limited choice (no meat), but what we ate was delicious. You can see why Elizabeth Taylor has stayed. The indoor swimming pool is beautifully crafted, and as it is salt water there is no intrusive smell of chlorine. Everything is spotlessly clean. The location is dramatic. Alghero is wonderful. I would love to come again.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxury resort overlooking the Mediterranean. It felt like vacationing like the Vanderbilts did in Newport, with its serene seaside and garden surroundings, and grand decor within the palazzo. The spa was blissful, especially the indoor salt water pool. The staff was excellent — from the maids to the waiters and bartenders in the restaurant — all happy to accommodate your every whim. The location is great, too. We were able to stroll into the town and around the city walls every night. We recommend this without hesitation. We didn’t want to leave ourselves.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, beautiful staff and beautiful holiday. My Wife and I had a wonderful stay for 10-days. Now, we did have a lovely room with a private balcony/terrace overlooking the sea. But that was our choice. The service was amazing, and such a romantic setting. I hope that one day we can go back, to a place that gave us such happy memories.

Un po’ datata la struttura, ma bella esperienza. Colazione ottima e variegata, fronte mare. La posizione dell’Hotel è perfetta. Ci siamo spesso spostati a piedi per andare in centro. Ha inoltre un accesso diretto sul mare. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Ho apprezzato molto il bagno grande! Non mai cenato o pranzato all’interno della struttura perciò non saprei dare giudizi in merito. Pulizia impeccabile

Ho avuto il privilegio di soggiornare in questo hotel e posso confermare che si tratta di una struttura esclusiva di altissimo livello. Il panorama che si gode dalla struttura è mozzafiato, regalando una vista indimenticabile. Il servizio offerto è impeccabile, con un personale sorridente e sempre disponibile. La colazione, buona e di livello, è servita con una vista eccezionale. Ho apprezzato anche il servizio Spa, che ha contribuito a rendere il mio soggiorno ancora più piacevole e rilassante. L'hotel è tenuto in maniera impeccabile, dalle camere ai giardini, tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Questo è stato uno dei migliori soggiorni che abbia mai avuto, e non posso fare altro che complimentarmi con l'hotel per l'esperienza straordinaria che mi ha offerto.

Not 5 star. Vintage rooms with inadequate air conditioning (it’s 28 c outside and same in room with airco on max), insufficient plugs for devices. Surly porter. Welcome drinks served with lipstick on the one of the glasses. Safe doesn’t work. Great view, charming James Bond level decor. Staff otherwise ok, but not as responsive as say the 4 Seasons. Manager refused to speak with us regarding our concerns. (!!????)
Oh and the kids refused to swim in the pool because it was “too chemical “ although it was supposed to be salt water. They spent hours in the sea on previous days.
Had high hopes for dinner but the food was bad. Not fresh even though the location is literally seaside. Serving staff was friendly and helpful. We will eat elsewhere tomorrow.

Soggiornare in questo storico hotel affacciato sul mare con vista Capo Caccia è stato semplicemente un' esperienza emozionale e sensoriale fantastica.
Immerso in un giardino meraviglioso, si respira subito relax e privacy.
Pulitissimo ogni luogo in comune e le camere, sapientemente seguite dalle donne dei piani con cura e attenzione.
La SPA è' una vera coccola e i trattamenti fatti da Anna con esperienza ed empatia ti danno una sensazione istantanea di benessere.
La piscina sul mare e' un incanto e ci si perde nel silenzio alternato al suono del mare e degli uccellini.
L'unica cosa che cambierei è il servizio della colazione, consiglio il buffet come c' era anni fa.
E' il momento del risveglio e trovare un bel buffet allestito è' più suggestivo che ordinare da un foglio.
Consigliato per chi cerca benessere, gusto e relax.
Per il resto davvero tutto perfetto.

Отель хороший , номера потрясающие , завтрак в марте был не шведский стол, может летом изменится , территория хорошая , бухты на камнях , не особо поняла , есть ли там пляж .
